- What do you do when you face temptation? A better question is, what do you do when you fall short of God's will for your life? In this message Pastor Paul shares how we can learn from David, after his moral failure, and how he didn't let the failure become FINAL in his life. He completely surrendered to God and received God's grace to move forward.
When SIN COMES KNOCKING, there are three things we can do.
1. Resist
James 4:7 says to resist the devil and he WILL flee.
This is our defense mechanism against sin.
2. Repent
If you fall short, don't stay in your sin. Don't continue down that road.
1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
3. Refocus
Turn your eyes to the Lord when you find yourself looking to an unhealthy situation.
