is it a bad idea to buy a 151 ETB now to get my start into collecting pokémon cards again? I used to collect the OG ones back when I was in elementary school. I would really only wanna focus on this set and not really as an investment, just for fun lol like do you think the ETB might get cheaper in the future? let me know, thanks!
For those of us who collected in the 90’s I think the nostalgia that you experience with 151 definitely makes it a great place to start. However the price right now is definitely something to consider. It’s just so high at the moment that I think it really depends on what how much you’re willing to pay for the hit of nostalgia and how long you’re willing to wait. There a premium collection coming out next year that will possibly bring down the 151 market. However I think the ETBs will hold their value.

I ended up getting two of those zards out of a 151 etb and I've never been happier.
