Elvis and Ann-Margaret were amazing together. Acting as though she was infatuated and in love with Elvis was probably the easiest gig of her career because it was so true in real life.
Good God !!! NEVER have there been two stars that could light up the screen like "Ann and Elvis" could. Pure sex without any of the tacky after taste of some of today's so called "sex charged" performers. Back then it was all about the music, the dance and the romance......which was soooooo clear between these two dynamos !!! Miss "60's Elvis" so much. He was clearly in his prime decade. Thank goodness we still have Ms. Margaret with us. Love these awesome "go-go" dance numbers !!! ( Look for the incomparable "Toni Basil" wearing the red dress in the "What'd I Say" video too ! ). I don't think we'll ever see such joy again. ❤️
Getting away with Ann-Margaret's alluring ass shaking in 1964 was something else too. It was too close to the camera, as you can even see on this video between 1:40 and 1:50
It's amazing that she could get away with such alluring booty shaking. As you can see between 1:40 and 1:50, it was too focused on Ann-Margaret's alluring ass.
Pure Chemistry... should have gone with your heart and not your mind Elvis, perhaps there would have been amore happier fitting ending to such a great Icon!

Elvis should never got married to Priscilla should have married Ann Margaret she oozed class and sexiness I truly think Elvis was in love with her but they never got the chance so sad
Elvis Presley had a long-line of female co-stars, but the best of all was, undoubtedly, the gorgeous Ann Margret!!! She was an actress and star, all rolled into one. Her dynamic personality never ceases to amaze me. This was Elvis and Ann's best musical and she made it possible. All his other musicals were damp squibs when compared to this giant of a musical. Ms. Margret went on to win an Oscar in the supporting category for Carnal knowledge. I have seen Ann's Bye, bye birdie more than a dozen times. As reported in various magazines, Ann Margret totally eclipsed Elvis in this movie and for which he never forgave her.

Ann Margaret and Elvis were madly in love with each other, but, think he made a promise and married the wrong one
Elvis was the best entertainer ever. a golden voice.
Pure Chemistry... should have gone with your heart and not your mind Elvis, perhaps there would have been amore happier fitting ending to such a great Icon!
