This video was perfect! Thank you for walking through each instrument. I know it's supposed to be about "whatever sounds good to you," but these rules of thumb - and knowing the reasons behind them- are really helpful for beginners like me.
Hi Kenny you Rock Man.Thanks alot brother I have learnt alot from your reEQ and reComp Vst tutorial. Keep it up Man. I wish you Lots and lots of success.
I kind of love how Reaper's plug-ins look very basic and kind of boring, but they're incredibly powerful. Sure, the developers could have spent all this time making them look prettier, but they know that that's not what people are using this for. They want RESULTS, not shiny graphics.
@@MrChriss10001 Omg thank you for your reply, I posted that 3 years ago and have thankfully figured it out haha. I'm now learning more advanced stuff :)
Hi Kenny! Thanks for the tutorial. I really like the vocal line with this harmonies, I even sang along to it haha :D Is this a real song we can listen to? Have a nice day!
I've just discovered this eq though I've used Reaper for 3 years. This and their Saturate plugin are GREAT. I'd always been told that the stuff thrown in with DAWs are just gimmicky trash and to ignore them. Uhh, WRONG.
These videos are like a breath of fresh air. Thanks Kenny.😎
You are nonstop with videos Kenny. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

Excellent tutorial, very practical. Amazes me how much you can do with Reaper (and save $4-500 over other DAWs!).
You're The Man Kenny! Keep Doing Your Thing! Keep The Videos Coming!
Thank you for your service, Kenny.
This was so helpful, exactly the video i was searching for!

Great videos !! I only use Midi instruments. Do I have to EQ them ? when and what for ?
that sounds a little bit better to me
I'm moving the settings and the track is playing but the sound is remaining exactly the same so i'm not hearing any realtime changes, any ideas why?
Do you have the track you're eqing soloed or are all the tracks going?
you have to activate the fx button on the track

@@elharrop haha I assumed that, but I had the same problem and maybe this will help someone in that same situation. Greetings
@@MrChriss10001 Ah yes I'm not technical so literally everything has been a STEEP learning curve. Either wanna learn vocoder or sidechaining next!

A brief explanation of the terminology would have been helpful. Google's help was required to understand this video.
Great video but GOD DAMN, that snare is awful.
