    I was debating on leaving them Trd-off-road on my 21’ Tundra on. But now I can see how they look cheesy at times .
    I think I’m gonna remove them before they age more and are PIA to remove or take paint off too with them later on. I could always buy em again if need be.

    I’d say that works well for newer vehicles but one that had had the decal on for a few years and had been hot and cold not sure it would come off that easily.

    Rob that came off too easy, never had one work that well for me, wonder if the high humidity in your area makes a difference. Got an idea for another demo while you were applying wax. You know how we get paste wax on the plastic and it turns white can't be polished off. I'd like to see an easy way to remove that wax from the plastic without harming the molding.

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  5 лет назад

      Not sure about the humidity affect? However I am convinced that it works much better at ambient air temp (as long as it’s warm outside! I’ll have to look into the wax idea🤔

      Say now Joe, old fred's mrs. gave him a good tip some time a go, it was the tip of an eraser as in pencil eraser. Get yurself one a them and go to town on them waxy white marks. You'll have them black molding real clean lickety split !

    I've never looked into this so I might as well ask you: what benefits do you see from waxing your cars?

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  5 лет назад +5

      They say it protects the paint. They say is helps reduce chips. I say it makes my forearms bigger and the car shinier😁

    • @justjoe7266
      @justjoe7266 5 лет назад +3

      I have an example. I live in the N.W. where winters are tough on cars. At times I've had chrome tips on exhaust, chrome tips rust from road deicer. When I've applied paste wax during winter periodically no rust. Waxes give extra protection.

    Don't know why the stickers starting to peal off? The best answer I have for that is because that's what stickers do.

  • @jakeschisler7525

    My neighbor has a Power Wagon and it didn't have the big decals except small one across the bed. My neighbors truck doesn't have tinted windows which is weird because of summer sun here in Florida. The price these manufacturers charge for replacement of those decals are ridicules. Why not ask the dealer remove them for you since most have a body shop crew.

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  5 лет назад

      That’s weird? Usually the Power Wagon has a big sticker across the bed. If you can get the dealer to remove them why not! That would be easier for the buyer if they don’t like them👍
