Joe, I found you several years ago now by your tent videos. Thank you so much for your willingness to share your family with us. I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas. God bless, Rob
Can I just say, "Thank You Joe." You spend so much time filming and uploading and editing and uploading for us. We enjoy watching these so much. Thank you. I have watched since Zach was a young boy. I would miss you so much if you stopped. Your life is so different from mine and I very much enjoy watching the northern life you live.
Sounds like DNR needs to have a "wolf season" there next summer to thin them out before deer season starts. Thanks for the videos. Really enjoy watching you and your family and some of your family's friends occasionally on them.
I appreciate these videos so much. I literally feel like I’m there, a part of the trip. It’s so relaxing, so genuine. Thank you both from the east coast of Canada.
Well I followed you up to the tent . You and Zack going up to your deer stands. You have got alot of snow.. watched you close up your tent for the winter. I will be going with you to the tent during duck season or is their something before that . ? Well I'll be there anyway. I love the tent series. . Thanks for sharing. Be careful going back to Minnesota . With all the snow ,the roads could be pretty slick. Be careful.
@@JoeandZachSurvival I watched where you had to cross the lake . . You fed the birds bread. That's good. I feed the birds here every day. Thanks for sharing.
These tent deer hunting trip videos are part of my deer hunting season tradition. Thanks for these videos, Joe. I look forward to next years' deer camp at the tent.
Another great video. I read that deer harvest in northeastern MN. was down 55% if I remember right. Wolves were part of the reason the article said. It wasn't great here in west central MN either according to what I have heard.
Thanks for letting me tag along on your hunting season. Unfortunately, due to getting COVID, I was out of commission the whole season. Was nice to be able to lay in bed and enjoy watching you and your family enjoy the oudoors. Thank you!
And yet another deer season in the record books. This never good old. You made some great memories with your kids. Loved the pictures at the end. It isn’t just about the kill. It’s about the memories made. Some deer meat in the freezer is just a bonus. Thanks for another great video. Take care, see ya :)
Your videos are some of the best on RUclips. Had a great deer season in Pa. Shot my buck and doe the opening morning. Herds of deer can be seen in the fields at night. Good luck next year.
Thanks for all the beautiful pics, feel sorry for Zach, we got 4 feet of lake effect in one day here in a snowy Buffalo NY suburb, others got more but it was still tough. Aw, Sara never made it back to the tent for her can of plums, LOL.
It must be nice to have Zach helping out and doing the routine "Joe" jobs around the tent, however, you now have to find something else to do besides that! haha. I am sure just sitting and watching your Son is quite enjoyable. I too do the same thing when my daughter is at camp. Just having her there is enough for me. So nice.
Enjoyed this 3 part series. Sorry to hear of the lack deer, but I hope you all still enjoyed the season. I certainly enjoyed watching. I was lucky enough to get a 6 pointer the year, unusually warm here in the north east. Thanks for the great videos from deer camp and sharing your memories. Regards Mark
Joe, love the little snippets of hunting camp at the end, and no it was boring when you were commenting from your journal. It's fun to look back about what the weather, who got deer or not, anything strange happen, etc. Zach & Joe sorry no deer this year. Hi to Melissa. Blessings to both your families.😊🇺🇲
Hey Joe you’re such a great dad and Zach’s a great son, I believe he got rid of that pesky squirrel getting into the tent yay. I can’t wait until you come back to the tent and I hate it when you leave for the winter. Thanks Joe and Family y’all are the best. Blessings! ❤️❤️❤️✅✅✅🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯🙌🙌🙌
Joe, you should be buying Windex and Charcoal by the case!!! 🤣😂🤪 Snow is pretty but glad you got it there and we don’t here in Louisiana! Hello to Melissa
Joe I wish I was as disciplined as you, consistent, had some of the stamina!! You're so accomplished!! I was glad to see video 3,the snow and finale!! Such contrast between the first five days first trip and the trip three! Amazing!
I was a little sad to see every thing all closed up. I enjoyed watching all summer long. You sure have a nice family and I have looked forward to seeing each video. Take care all of you and may God pour his blessing out on each of you. Happy Holidays.
Have enjoyed this 3 part series. I enjoy all your videos, need to get caught up. LoL I didn't even get a license this year, got pneumonia right before gun season and didn't have any desire to be out sitting in a stand. 🙄 It's been a really weird start to winter up to now. I'm down in Indiana.
Thank you Joe for sharing all you do! The very 1st video I watched was of you snow shoeing across the lake! I've been here for all the interesting content every since.
Hi there Joe, it’s good to see some powder back the cabin, and it’s good to see some good video vlogs, I’ve been watching your video at home & at work..
A picture perfect post card Christmas scene looking out over the lake. So beautiful. Enjoyed seeing all the photos of Zach, Sarah, the birds, the tent & lake with fall colors. Beautiful. Hope Zach made it home safely.
My uncle hunts about 80 miles from where you hunt and said it's been awful as far as the deer population. He did 1st weekend but didn't go back up because there were so many wolf tracks.
Thanks, Frank. When we bought the van a couple of years ago, we put new tires on it, but they are almost worn out now. Might be time for some new tires.
When I hunted by the hobby farm house years ago, I could shoot 1 buck and unlimited does. My 2 biggest bucks in my life I shot down there and over 30 other deer.
I love your deer camp videos, It always makes me homesick but in a good way. If Colorado allows wolves back into the state (like they plan too) all the Elk and deer will be diminished within 10 to 15 years here also. Colorado is beautyfull but it's not the same kind of cold.
I’m a pretty new subscriber to your channel. I find it enjoyable trying to watch all the old video’s. All those great memories you have with your children is priceless.
Hi Joe, is there no wolve management up where you hunt? The population looks like it's grown alot. No wonder you guys haven't gotten a deer in awhile. Something needs to be done.
Gotta ask Joe about the new light !! I bought 2 of the old ones you used but I’m having a hard time finding the new batteries for them!! The new one seems brighter and has a better spot beam !!! Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
Long time viewer from West Fargo North Dakota ...So I just want to make sure it wasn't a mistake when you said you might do more than one winter trip this year? That would be so awesome... maybe one with Zach and Sarah? My wife always likes to watch the ones with Sarah in it because she was close with her Dad too.
Going through the ledger it's never boring I realize that there was a log that you put in that you didn't even realize in between November and when you shut it down to October like you you time traveled and you still didn't remember that's why you shut it down it's never boring
it was a tough year for hunting all over it sounds like, we went 1 buck for 5 guys. Just being with family and eating well it a big part of the fun at hunting camp!
Glad to see you hunting, it's a shame that you can't manage wolves in Minnesota. I live in idaho and we have liberal wolf laws. They still do really well. Good luck Joe, love your videos.
I shot a deer in 2018 and 2019 and prior to that is had been 5 years. Yes it has been 3 years and it is amazing how many people have an opinion about that. Lol.
I throughly enjoy your vids. I recognize some of your traveling to camp especially just north of Cloquet on highway 33. We have a shack in the canyon area. Are you up near White face reservoir? Happy hunting.
Awesome time with your family Joe, looking forward to the winter trip. Tho I'm thinking that a trip once a month would be alright with us if it's alright with you guys 😁
Hey Joe, just wondering and apologies if this has been addressed previously, but how do you wash dishes and shower without any of the plumbing freezing? Do you have any traps? Always wondered about that. Thanks for the videos I look forward to each and every one of them. All the best.

Good job on the potatoes Zach! They are fresh not canned!
I really enjoy your camp! Thanks for sharing. I think I will steal your idea about the journal.
Nothing better than father and son time hunting deer. I really enjoyed the video.
Great video. I sure hope MN DNR does something about the wolves. Sad situation and it will take years for the deer population to rebound.
Trap and relocate some wolves to St Joseph Island, ON Canada. We have way too many deer.
Snow on the trees make a beautiful picture!
Thanks for taking me along! 👍
I can't stand the cold anymore but the snow on the trees were beautiful. Have a good weekend. Take care and God bless.
Thank you, my dear, great video and beautiful views. Thank you🙏🌷🌷🌷

MN DNR is at fault. Sad.
Yes 55% from last year that was also horrible up here and years before that. It’s sad!!! And they are still giving out doe tags in our zone’s.
thanks for posting Joe. enjoyed it again. I'm like you said they will have to do something about the wolves. the D.N.R. guy even admits it. stay safe.

Over by Little Fork whenever the wolves are around the deer are gone. Since 1966 we have seen it both ways. You hit it hard the snow helps.
Can you put out some salt blocks up there?
Deer hunted up in Koochiching County for 40+ years, always had a melancholy feeling whenever someone from our party had to leave deer camp early.
