These videos are absolutely top-notch and make me wish everyday I could win the Powerball retire and travel the world playing courses like this. These videos is why this is the best channel on RUclips
I learned to play golf at Shiskine when I was about 5. Just had 3 clubs; a spoon (3 wood), a 5 iron and a putter but it was more about being taught the etiquette by my father. A magical place 😊
Tron: don't go in that bunker. The only bunker on this hole and one of the few on the course. Hits right at it, nah I'm good way right of the bunker Tron: these bunkers are magnetic
I've been to Islay many times and Kintyre a few. Never been to Arran, but it's always been a desire. These film room videos with Jim Hartsell are an absolute treasure.
Love it - Arran is one of the most beautiful places - You can cycle round the Island in around 4-5 hours. Loads of good places to see, wander, drink etc. Love it
Played Shiskine in May and it is a lot of fun! About as far away as you can get from the hyper expensive stadium "new links" you get with Kingsbarns, Trump and Dumbarnie. Not that they cannot be a great experience as well but this is what golf used to be and it might be worth reminding yourself from time to time. It doesn't need to be an industrial commercial monster, it can just be 12 holes in a magical setting.
Looks like great fun. Quite like the idea of 12-hole courses and being shorter in length...makes the game more accessible in terms time needed for a round, not being wrecked afterwards and short hitters having more fun.
Great video. 12 is the perfect number …… until you enjoy the 12 so much you have lunch and do another 12!!😂 it’s a great place, so enjoyable and the film room do it perfect justice.
Magical place, great island golf scene, and great to see it in typical Scottish Spring/Summer/Autumn(you pick) conditions. That said, I am there next week and hoping for slightly warmer weather. Hope you played Corrie while you were on Arran. Looking forward to the rest of this great mini series.
Sat having a coffee one morning on the patio of the clubhouse (it was the summer's day) while out cycling. Watched a visiting golfer with his wife caddying (no other pp) dispatch a quick sleeve into the Firth of Clyde off the 1st tea. There is no cycling equivalent of this !
I’ve been to Arran three times and still not played any courses but think I’ll take a week in 2025 and purchase the weekly pass which gets you on the variety of course
As a Scotsman I’m wondering how much Tron understood on the day and how much the Americans in the audience will understand the other guys 😂 my girlfriend is going to a wedding on the island next week
Like a visual Cliff Notes video of Tom Coyne's book: A Course Called Scotland. So cool to see it, hope to actually SEE it one day. Will absolutely make the trek there.
As a Brit, I love how Tron is so respectful of our links courses, the history, and the quirkiness of it all.
scottish not british

The output rate on these does not go Unnoticed. I'm loving the film rooms this summer
Tron: “The 6th hole is one of the best holes in all of Scotland”
Tron 2 minutes later: “The 9th is the best hole on the course.”
Giving off strong Z Blair vibes from Tourist Sauce Australia.

Love this TC, great film and makes Shiskine a must visit experience. 👏
This place looks absolutely magical

Love this one and what a perfect course. Tron hit the nail on the head when he said 12 holes is the perfect number for a round of golf.

Proper edit. Proper course. Love it.
Love the music on this video
Agreed! I dug around & found First Light by Red Licorice & Inola, used on the first couple holes.
Have loved seeing this side of Tron. Away from the troll shit on Twitter and the pod, he really does appreciate the game of golf.
Brilliant! Showcasing an excellent and true gem of a course. There’s no better place to be when the sun is splitting the sky.

Brilliant video - playing there next month for work day out ⛳️
That area is a bucket list area for sure. Thanks for the vid guys!

It reminds me a bit of Cruden Bay, only it looks wilder and with less dunes. I would love to play here
Awesome job gents

Can we get a counter of how many times Tron said "wee" in this video? Love it

24 at Shiskine is a perfect day
When the gates of heaven open, this will be what I see. Tremendous contact fellas. keep up the great work.
Great to see Jim Hartsell out there!! Such a good dude, was lucky to be his partner at Sweetens M/G a few years ago.

Shisline is always fun 😁
Reminds me of Anstruther with the elevation changes and blind shots.
I might suggest a bit more practice at the "bump & run" shot for the next trip to Scotland.
What a track
Majestic
What a beautiful looking course. Is it public?
Yes
Unbelievable 👍 Sure looks like a Bucket list of Places to play ⛳ Great stuff NLU 🏌
unusually sunny for scotland
Did you know its an Old Tom Morris course ... Arran is just a mini Scotland
Ethereal looking place
What bag is Tron using there? Link please!
TC getting out there to the proper spots

Robbie the legend 🏌

You will find out in NLU's upcoming video "When Revelation Comes".
8:15 is that how Americans pronounce Himalayas? No criticism I just didn't realise.
