"What could a soul like that be capable of?" Warhammer 40k was one of the best episode from the current released episodes of Secret Level. The animation, detailing, depth and story was amazing. It was amazing to see young Titus and the story revolving around him and narration of the old man. I hope you will love and enjoy my video on Warhammer 40k. Thank you for watching! I thought this was an older Titus since he has his 4 service studs and his deathwatch chains, so this being the mission he takes under Calgars request after the events of Space Marine 2
nah the emperor or something else is watching over him we know this from the end of space marine 2 - 100% someone gaurding this built different asf titus
Reminds me in a Dawn of War comic where a Blood Raven meets the Farseer who went in his mind. "By all means, take a closer look! " *proceeds to head butt repeatedly the xenos*
My read on the sorcerer/daemon is that it kills by playing on its victims insecurities, doubts, and fears. The stern guard veteran seemed to hate his own self/humanity and crushed his head, causing his own skull to be crushed. Maetarus thinks making Titus an Astartes was a mistake given his controversial reputation and worries he’ll be corrupted by chaos; he gets stabbed by this traitor Titus and is thus stabbed for real. Titus, being Titus, is built different. The sorcerer looks put-off after looking into his mind because at his core, Titus is still that angry, single-minded kid who will stop at nothing to destroy his enemies, and the minute it steps foot inside his head it becomes just another monster to slay.
Something tells me that the first marine was merely afraid of his own armor, maybe he was a little claustrophobic. Before you laugh - there are mentions that some space marines get claustrophobia when they are inside a terminator armor. Perhaps this one, deep down, is afraid to be forever trapped inside his armor, dying from dehydration and starvation. It's a small, repressed fear that was revealed and tripled by the daemon.
Great take, this adds credence to Calgar’s words in SM 2 denoting Titus’s devotion and single mindedness towards the goals of the Imperium. This depiction just brings to life what really lies at the heart and soul of Brother Titus, and why he is simply untouchable from the warp’s cursed machinations.
They are Astartes, the Emperor's Angels of Death. They are His bulwark against the Ruinous Powers and any foul Xeno, Mutant, or Heretic crawling out of the woodwork. They are His Space Marines. AND THEY SHALL KNOW NO FEAR!
Im not sure if your new to 40k, if you are welcome. Its a hell of a universe to get lost in, if your an oldhammer like me well met brother. Its nice seeing 40k get some more animations
Okay, but now I need an episode like this for the Imperial guard. The men and women who stand defiant despite the sanctity of armor and the 'greatest' weapons of Him on Terra. Who truly hold the line against all odds, who truly hold the bulwark against the terrors of the galaxy.
Base on the narrative. I think that "old man" was the one who found him as a child and took him in to become a astartes. He could definitely be older even though they look relatively close age. I haven't watch it yet so i could be wrong.
@ I think there is a little bit of inconsistency in the narrative. Generally silver studs can be around 50years of service and gold 100 years, but it’s not always the case either and not all marines wear them. In SM2 he has 4x gold studs, in this it seams he may only have one gold and three silver studs… in SM1 he had 2x studs so he was at least 100 years old. He spent 100 years being tortured by the inquisition and he served the deathwatch for almost another 100 years so he should be in the ballpark of over 300 years old. Hard to tell haha.
@@TjarkoTarnen Only the Dark Angels take Gold studs as 100 as explained in the Ravenwing novel. Different Chapters have different standards for colors like Gold. Ultras take it 50 years. In a similar vain to how the Dark Angels take 50 silver but the Soul Drinkers take Silver for 10 years while 10 years of black for their service as a Chaplain.
This was an amazing Episode. I can only imagine what Titus would have said if he actually did talk in the mind. "You are a fool to enter my mind. In the name if the Man Emperor of Mankind! I cast you out!"
The Warhammer 40,000 Live-Action Amazon TV Series needs to be similar to this and the Video Games but they could also make Future Warhammer 40,000 Animated Movies/Series.
Can't say specifically how it played out, but at the start of the fight he was holding it normally, then you see at the end, before the tank started firing, he had it in a reverse grip. Like how the axe of the Sargent ended up back handed at some point.
No likely the same age as Titus given he and Titus has the same amount of studs and, for Ultramarines at least, each stud represents 50 years of service and we know as of SM2 Titus is over 200 years old thanks to one of the squamates mentioning it.
At least Mk7 is getting some recognition still. I wish we'd see more of it in animations but at least we had it in the Rogue trader CRPG, Boltgun and got the helmet in Space Marine 2
or maybe that sergeant recruited from Calth, there 500 worlds in the realm of Ultramar. I expected Salamander skin gonna be charcoal black with reddish eye 😁
Salamanders are dark skinned not by ethnicity, its actually a defect with one of their implants, their home world has high levels of radiation and in response that implant i mentioned will darken the skin to protect them, every marine has this implant but because salamanders are from nocturn which is a very hostile world this plant was active all the time, and actually mutated their gene seed, if i remember correctly. All chapters have a diverse racial selection, remember they pull recruits from the population of planets, not countries. planets with billions on them, they comb through and find the strongest among them, and race doesn't matter, your will and strength does to them

Oh nvm I just realised you meant the literal young Titus mb
Turns out Titus wasn't a Blank, Psyker, Protected by Chaos or the Emperor; he was instead quite simply: Built Different.
Nah he protected by something stronger, the will of the warhammer community crossing through the source wall
take that leandrous
nah the emperor or something else is watching over him we know this from the end of space marine 2 - 100% someone gaurding this built different asf titus
That kid about to bully an aspirant Leandros with this chain sword he found
He is watched over by the emperor and he is a blank
Sorcerer: *Invades Titus' mind*
Titus: I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with me
Titus having himself a 'Lion moment'

Like the entire Exorcist Chapter
Like when tau tried to interrogate a raven guard.. their last mistake in the materium lol
Titus is simply built different.
I feel like the Astartes animation guy totally worked on this
He did!
He’s in the credits
The lens-shifting on the face close-ups made me think of the Astartes project too
Also fighting style and similar sound design@@Verbux

Good Lord, this episode was goddamn breathtaking
This was one of the best episode. Great edit on this!
Looking forward to more!
The part when the sorcerer walks into Titus head, he sh"ts himself when he looks at him. Like...HO SH"T. Titus too loyal to die.
Bro said get yo freaky mind out of my head
Well, yeah. I think that's a Slaaneshi daemon, definitely freaky.

Aye, brother.
Leandros: this soul is...quite suspicious😤
Right lmao 😂
Titus: A man too angry to be corrupted
This episode did not disappoint fr
We need more of this....amen to this masterpiece !
He is slowly become another Doom guy just his strong will is enough to break free from demon.
Khârn the Betrayer takes the role of doomguy for me personally. XD Dude is wild.
Funny you guys say that when Malum Caedo is the guy withthe Doom like game.

In Titus' mind
Titus: You're not the Emperor...
Daemon: WHA-???
Titus: D E A T H
Finally Astartes moving at Astartes speeds. Superhuman.
i always found it weird that they can run at 60 km/h but choose to run at the speed of an average human
This was absolutely beautiful
I really enjoyed watching that episode
Can't wait for Counterpoints take on this episode, the beautiful animation on that cultist smackdown.
Peak episode
I like how he calls him “old man” even though they are the same age haha.
Base on the narrative. I think that "old man" was the one who found him as a child and took him in to become a astartes. He could definitely be older even though they look relatively close age. I haven't watch it yet so i could be wrong.
Probably like a 50ish year difference between the two, equivalent of calling your older sibling of 5 years "old" just to be a brat.

Titus really looked at Calgar and said "he's just like me fr".
This episode was totally epic
What a man and a soldiers dreams to be.
Women: "men want only one thing..."
What men want: "..."
@@ardour1587 >Me as a gal wanting to be the same bulwark against the Terror.
Literally everybody: for the emperor

Absolutely exquisite
Freaking great episode
Theory: Could Titus be an daemon of the Emperor? May explain why the warp and other xeno sorcery doesn't effect him.
I think he just has a strong connection, some are more blessed than others. The Big E, especially in his state now, works in mysterious ways
I heard some theories that Titus is either being protected by the emperor himself or a Blank
looked back, and turned like Sephiroth. Got me PTSD
This was an amazing Episode. I can only imagine what Titus would have said if he actually did talk in the mind.
"You are a fool to enter my mind. In the name if the Man Emperor of Mankind! I cast you out!"
he truly Knows No Fear
Is this from Secret level or somewhere else?
yes, secret level episode 5
@@TherealAndi thanks
Low key thought he was talking about MALUM CAEDO
Damn Titus is built like a genetically modified demigod...oooooOOOO YEHA!

Astartes's quality. Astartes's maker,too.
Damm so good
Thos service studs... Wow... He old but prime old.
Sublime !
🔥🔥
A Daemon to the Ruinous powers. The Emperors Angel. Titus…
Not enough 'BROTHERS' in there... Not 'old man'... Instead: BROTHER!
Seeing Titus with facial hair feels so strange. But anyway, tell me, which Chaos Tribe is the redeemed son of Guilliman clashing with this time?
For we are fear incarnate!
Manni was hoping leandros is inside that coffin too smh
cinema🚬
Titus is 100% a blank
They got Kerrigan in 40k? Wow wee.
fuck yea
one question did the iron halo of the captain get used we didnt see the force fiel d in action
i feel stupid, cuz i don't know where i'm supposed to go to watch this
Amazon prime
Is this short film about the story of Titus?
TACTICUS🎉
Titus is the goat
for the emperor!
Why he hold chain sword upside down?
Intimidation might also be less effort than carrying it.
Can't say specifically how it played out, but at the start of the fight he was holding it normally, then you see at the end, before the tank started firing, he had it in a reverse grip. Like how the axe of the Sargent ended up back handed at some point.
Harder to break the blade when his body guards it vs normal grip
Is that veteran sergeant 400 years old?
No likely the same age as Titus given he and Titus has the same amount of studs and, for Ultramarines at least, each stud represents 50 years of service and we know as of SM2 Titus is over 200 years old thanks to one of the squamates mentioning it.
Likely older because he found younger titus and possibly trainee him
@@sidjiiimenudo842 Yes I agree. Now I think titus is 250 and he is 400.
Silver=50
Gold=100
Titus has 4 silver studs- denoting 200 years of service
