AMAZING: Apache Gunship Helicopter "Attacking" Playing Field

Amazing video of an Apache Helicopter nearly low hovering and nearly getting tangled in the fence.
It came down and hovered only feet above the field. No idea why - the groundmen seemed stunned by it as well. It was a good thing none of the kids where in the field at the time.

In the US, at a NASCAR race in Charlotte, NC, the Air National Gaurd stage a performance with several Apache and Blackhawk Helicopters where they simulate an insertion and extraction mission. The Aircraft line up before the start time about 30-45 minutes prior hovering just below the treetops out of sight. They are pretty quiet behind the tree lines, sounding as if they are much farther off. As they begin, the Apache helicopters move forward and begin circling and "attacking" inside the raceway for the fans to see and as they do this the Blackhawks move forward and hover for what seems like forever. Being directly below one of these machine makes one wish that they never have to be on the business end of these craft! It's amazing how long they can hold a still position. I have read and seen where they, in concert with other battleground and satellite tech can hover behind a tree or ridgeline far out of an enemies reach and rise just high enough to launch their computer guided ordinance, striking an enemy who never sees, and might not even hear them closeby. I don't know if this craft might have been part of some display, or if it was a training exercise of some kind but it is cool footage you got here.
