Glad this video popped up . Born and raised in Invermere , I was last at Floe Lake in 1968 , the glaciers came down to the lake and there was many iceberg floating on the lake , the scene mat have changed , but the scenery is still as spectacular. Thanks for the memories. Oh and the camping was wild back then , no organized camping.
I'm happy to see you with a new video. I am in love with these landscapes that actually look a lot like Chilean Patagonia. It is always a pleasure to see you enjoy these walks. Hugs and kisses from Chile. Each video convinces me more to migrate to Canada 😊
You brought a MINUS 30 sleeping bag?!? How cold was it out there? I went thru Floe Lake in late July and loved it - verrry dramatic helicopter swooped in that morning to deliver a trail crew. Right out of a movie! Same problem with the bathrooms - hard to navigate in that maze of camp sites. FYI, there's nice places to swim in the river you crossed at the beginning (via the wooden bridge).
Lol yeah. I get cold easily when I’m trying to fall asleep. I probably would have been fine with my minus 10 bag though. Sounds like you had an awesome trip to Floe too!
I hiked the Rockwall Trail quite a few years ago. We had great weather at the start, but by the time we reached Floe Lake for the last night, our gear was soaked, the rain was turning into snow, and we were pretty chilly. We decided to skip the last night and hike out. I want to redo the hike just to be able to wake up at Floe Lake!
Hi Mallory! I’m sorry for the late reply here. I went early October, yes. Usually the larch trees turn yellow mid to late September. But I lucked out last year with a late fall season

Thank you!! Will do.
Wow nice vid 🏕️🌞😀
Thank you!
Did you worry about bears at night ?
What was your bear plan: firearm or spray?
I follow bear safety guidelines and always carry bear spray. No firearm.
I really want to do this hike with my dog! Did you go early October? That seems to be the only available times to book last minute.

Hi! Nina you think inflatable kayak can handle maligned lake?
Hey! Sorry for the late reply here. I wouldn’t use an inflatable one if you’re going very far. It can get rough out there
Блин ты одна тебе не страшно😮 Ты бесстрашная девочка🎉❤
Sometimes a little scared but it’s part of the adventure!
