ABOUT THE SHOW
Fortitude is a place like nowhere else. Surrounded by the savage beauty of the frozen landscape, the small town in the Arctic Circle is one of the safest towns on earth. There had never been a violent crime until one brutal murder revealed a much larger story lying deep beneath this seemingly quiet town.
After last year, Fortitude will never be the same again. As the town's residents endeavor to rebuild their lives, a fresh new murder rocks the town and plunges it into turmoil oncemore. Meanwhile, out in the stunning icy wilderness, nature is growing more unpredictable, deadly, and dangerous.
In Fortitude, nothing, and no one, is ever what they seem.
Golden Globe-nominated Dennis Quaid (The Art of More, Far From Heaven), Parminder Nagra (The Blacklist, ER), Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones), Robert Sheehan (Misfits), and Ken Stott (The Missing) have joined the cast of the chilling Arctic thriller alongside returning cast members Sofie Gråbøl, Richard Dormer, Luke Treadaway, Darren Boyd, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Mia Jexen, Alexandra Moen, Verónica Echegui, Sienna Guillory, and Ramon Tikaram.

Though I wish this were airing sooner, I have to admit that one of the things that made this show so powerful and impactful was that season 1 aired during the winter and it was like the room I was in while watching it dropped by 50 degrees just while I was watching it. That setting just jumped out of the screen and into my reality. So I will happily wait with anticipation.
I didn't think this would get a second season.

I've been watching this show on NOWTV and I'm addicted. However the only thing that's spoiling it for me is the heavy accent of the foreign cast. It wouldn't have mattered had the show come with subtitles on NOWTV but without that I often struggle to understand some of the actors. It's only 4 actors who have a very heavy accent which makes their English hard to understand. NOW TV, please provide subtitles for your shows!!

Binged it yesterday and have to say it was beyond terrible. The first season was so interesting. This season I had to force myself through the ambiguous plot and terrible acting. I really feel aggrieved that I watched it all the way through I would not recommend. Please cancel this show asap.
