Fortitude’s Richard Dormer & Dennis Quaid

An Amazon original series in the U.S. and a Sky original production in the U.K., the Arctic-set thriller Fortitude is back with a second season. The series is produced by Fifty Fathoms and is created and written by Simon Donald (Beautiful Creatures). Sky Vision handles worldwide sales and recently clinched a deal that sees the new installment launching in Canada on Super Channel in June.
Richard Dormer returns in season two as Sheriff Dan Anderssen. Dennis Quaid joins the cast in the new run. Dormer and Quaid met with TV Drama Weekly to talk about the experience of shooting in such a remote location and what that fed back into their performances.

Dan is one of the best characters I've ever seen in a show, and Dormer is absolutely brilliant, especially in season 2 as he spirals in madness. What a liberating role, I would imagine.

Eeeeh.... it starts next Thursday and if I stay up for a few days and nights I can totally binge watch the whole season 3!!!! Must buy in extra snacks.....Also Richard Dormer has the very best beard on TV ever!!!! I just want to pet it and brush and style it! I do not say that lightly as most beards would not get touched by me for fear of what already lives in there! Well fed beasties in there as they get fed when the guys get fed so they will be pretty hardy!
