    Yes. The Ford Mustang is reliable. It is more reliable than my first car, 1989 Holden Astra SX, my second car, Daihatsu Appaluase 1999 and my current 1991 Honda Accord Exi 1991 with zero airbags. The Ford Mustang is reliable.

    I bought my 2018 Royal Crimson Mustang 6 speed manual transmission brand new and it’s got 50000 miles on it now. The only thing I’ve had to do to it was oil changes and tire rotations and a new set of tires. Even though I drive it in triple digits at times I’ve had no problems with the car. It gets compliments on its looks all the time 5 years later. I park it in my garage and wash it and polish it regularly.

    Engine - depends who took care of it. Technologies, nannies, and sync - time will tell. Leather seats crack on 3rd year, depends where the sun dont shine. It really depends what is defined reliable. My ‘96 neon was reliable coz it never left me stranded while my civic’s headlights died during night drive home.

    Mustangs are reliable but only if you take great care of them. But regardless it’s a money pit. If you don’t mind spending money on it then go ahead. But if you want a fun car that’s reliable and good looking I recommend getting one of these options: 08-17 v6 accord coupe manual or auto. Lexus is250/350. Lexus is300 Honda Civic si. Really interesting topic Gold Pony! I have a 2018 GT with PP1 on it. I bought it used with 7,000 miles on it. So far we're doing okay. The battery has died one time and that's it which can happen in any car really. I have a very subtle version of the BBQ tick and the 2k rattle.... do you have any of those in yours? I've seen pretty much any 2018 has that.

      @garreth629 2 года назад +2

      I know this is an old post but figured I'd reply anyway. A turbo and a supercharger are both similar in that they achieve a similar goal. Forcing more air into an engine.
      Having said that the turbo uses exhaust gases to spin a turbine that is connected to a shaft driving another turbine on the intake side.
      Meanwhile a supercharger uses belts connected to pulleys on the front of the motor driving either a turbine or a roots style blower.
      The turbo is more efficient but has more lag compared to a supercharger of a similar size.
      Basically each has pros and cons so it depends on what you're goals are.

    Any car is reliable if you take good care of it.
    It seems Mustang enthusiasts uses this line to hide the fact that Mustangs generally don't last anywhere near as import cars. Unless you enjoy fixing and performing maintenance on your car, this isn't a car that lasts for a long time without hefty charges in parts and labor.
    Mustangs are known foe their power. As for their longevity, they fall flat on their faces. Any manufacturer can build a powerhouse. Not every manifacturer can blend power with reliability and this is where mustangs fall short.

And tbh, resale value on cars always sucks, everyone knows you take a hit as soon as you get the tyres dirty but have you driven an S550?
