Beyonce is from the south and she incorporated the Debutante or Cotillion Ball of the South which is popular in the Southern States to introduce young women to society
I 'm from the rural south. We used to play these had slap games as children. They were passed down from our parents and grandparents. It's a shame so many of our young don't know about our traditions.
I’m glad you can relate, that scene in particular brought so much memories to me. But as far as the slap game it was always the girls playing it when I was younger, we as the lil boys was just playing with gun toys, soccer/ basketball/ hide and seek etc... but that it was always played amongst the girls. What a memory huh😃, I’m glad you can relate Dr Mayesmt🙏🏽❤️💪🏽
There are many variations of the hand game you're talking about at the beginning of the video. We played slide a lot. You might hear it called "patty cake" too.
Wow, guys, especially Kirah, it's an incredible interpretation of the video. Enjoyed watching! But, could somebody write what was said on 13:44 seconds: "cause she said you gonna make them fall in love I mean ...." Please
The song is ultimately a wonderful metaphor for just being beautiful. Brown skin girls have been used for years and its nice the way in this instance its really a celebration of darker skin and brown skin girls. I think it is that celebration, but also think it works nicely as a metaphor for just being beautiful.
Black folks influence on music.... Most of these newer artists influences were/are Black. We revelationized Pop - making it what it is... "popular.' Not to mention how we (Black folk in general) created Rock (see Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the godmother of Rock & Roll & Big MaMa Thornton), Jazz, Blues, hip hop, rhythm and blues (r&b), aspects of country/folk (also, enslaved Africans brought over an instrument from West Africa, which is now referred to as the #banjo). Not to mention Black folks across the Diaspora with Reggae, etc. In fact - American music IS Black music.
It’s time for us to really tap in with our culture/ history and ancestry... I myself have some deep work to do. I really appreciate your comments, I love your feedbacks❤️🙏🏽
Bruh, you spent the entire video wanting to move to her, you kept checking yourself out in the camera to make sure you were on point. and you stopped the video like a hundred times to make it last longer... next time just react then do ya thing man. i felt awkward for you. She likes you too though. #bodylanguage
Hahaha this is a funny one, we kept checking ourselves... I mean “I” because we have a monitor that tells us how to stay in frame in the video that’s why I keep checking to see if we’re in frame. and another reason is that I set up the camera to use her left eye as a tracker to keep her in focus throughout the shoot. So I had to pull myself back all the time in order to keep my left eye out of the the way. Cause the camera can’t distinguish a her left eye or my left as long as there are 2 or more human faces there. I’ll try not to pause my vids as much anymore, but anytime something caught our attention we react to it... we’ll just sum everything up at the end like you want it. Thk for the feedback.
How you guys feel about our reaction?
Should I invite Kiarah more on this channel?

She enlightened on NIgeria and Africa culture I like that... she’s jaws dropping beautiful, what’s her ig though.
Que mujer tan hermosa y intelectual. No me esperaba oír su dulce voz hablar en español; pero al oír, me a cautivó aún más la jovencita.
"Black" ppl are varying shades of Brown. From the darkest of Browns to light sands, beiges.

Search for Black Cotillions...they are an older southern tradition in America. (not sure if they still exist)
