  • Filmed in a hospital during bedrest, this episode discusses dengue fever casually. I share my experience and symptoms of this disease, and share with you exactly how I contracted it. I also share ways to prevent infection and spread of this deadly and painful disease.

    wow even in the hospital!! the dedication 🤌 get well sean!! dengue is a virus so it doesn't really have a specific medication. the key is hydration and watch out for signs of bleeding specially abdominal pain. praying for your recovery sean🙏🤍🤍🤍

      Oh yes do protect yourself when travelling. A lot of native people take this disease too lightly…

    Ouch! Dengue seems like such a brutal disease. I hope you are now symptom free and feeling like your old self. Your community should demand the standing pools of water be sprayed to prevent the mosquito population from exploding. There are commercially available treatments like larvicides you can put into standing pools of water. Even soap or oil keeps mosquitos from being able to breed since it interferes with the water's surface tension--the mosquitos need to stand on the water to deposit their eggs.

    I don't know if this is true but my mother (org Indonesia) told me that if you get it a second time, your mortality rate will be higher (or in her words "cuman bisa dapet sekali, kalo dua kali ya mati")

      Yes its true. Second time is much deadlier. There are 4 strains of dengue in total
