I grew up on 12th street in downtown Riverside. I went to Arlington tho in Casa Blanca off of Indiana. In the 90's they weren't called CBGC they were just referred to as 2800 Blocc and 12th street wasn't considered East Coast Crip either. Just 1200 Blocc. I got along with the Ese's in CB just fine but i had known mostly everyone from pop warner football at Hunt Park. Damn i miss home but i dont miss the trouble tho. Thanks for sharing

We (as in homIEs from the south side) always adressed the CBGCS as "2800s" .. and back then in middle school and the few actual crips from CBGC I know/knew always said "2800 blocc crip"

Not only is San Bernardino one of the most dangerous cities in Cali it’s also one of the most dangerous cities in America and it’s even more one of the poorest places as well at least top 10 places of dangerous places in America I grew up here all my life and the reason I feel it’s so bad is because back in the 70s 80s and 90s a lot of people from south Central Compton watts moved out here because it was so cheap and with that brought a lot of Gang activity with them and started chapters of there hoods from LA out here and that started clashing with the gangs already here lol I can’t tell you how many times sht would go down over IE vs LA especially with the youngsters saying sht like fuk LA not liking anyone from LA anybody wearing LA hates either caught a beat down or was killed and foos from LA same sht sht literally every single person I know is either from LA or hear most of my bast homies are from LA anyway my point is is that’s why San Bernardino was so much crazier than most places was because it was half LA and half IE

In 1987/1989, I lived right down the street from the bus station at 666A West 6th Street in San Bernardino. I believe they tore down those cottages now, that place lived up to it's address for sure. I remember how bad it got, I wasn't in it firsthand, but I was affiliated because the guys would get me drunk and give me some cash to beat up girls because they wanted them to stop coming around. At least I was on their good side; those girls sure weren't... I was 16 or 17 at that time.

Ok let me tell you one thing about Riverside or the inland empire period . When it comes to that cripshit , no sets Getting with 1200 . They been beefing with the the whole city for like 25 plus . All these other hoods have to link up just to war with em like cb and the jays . Plus they claim inland empire when they get locked up . 1200 is with the east coast card so that’s With LA , so the politicin different. IE s reputation in the county is solid but it’s not as ten toes down as LAs is period , I don’t care how you slice it . There also cool with a couple Mexican sets while 1200 beefed with basically every Hispanic set in the city for the last decade . Riverside population is 60% Hispanic and like 9% black I believe .Riverside is also alot like Long Beach the biggest Mexican hood and probably hood in general would be the Rivas who are geographically separated throughout the city just like the longos in Long Beach . They have the numbers in their favor so their able to go at it with diff black hoods within the city whose gang population for the most part is lower .
