It’s worse. The first attack is slower. The full combo does a little more stance damage but it’s way better to spam the normal faster one. You can test yourself or check videos

Google rakshasa armor. Found on the East side of the map in the east unnamed mausoleum. To get there, you’ve got to beat the golden hippo thing (in the shadow keep), find a somewhat hidden ladder near the burning boats part of the castle, and keep going until you get there. A lot of work but it’s very nice

Depends. Normal lion's claw deals a ton of poise damage and can potentially knock down opponents around your size, but it's a one and done. SLC has more range and you can combo it, so it comes out quickly when you have a big opening. Each hit deals less poise damage. Gotta kind of balance the two. SLC would probably go crazy with the winged sword insignia that boosts successive attacks. LC goes really well with the stonebarb cracked tear that boosts poise damage.

Is this better or worse than the base claw? The standard ash of war provides unlimited hyper armor during the move and stuns even boses on every 3rd hit.

Savage Lion Claw only does slightly more damage and the same poise damage if you manage to hit the full combo on the enemy. It stacks with continous hits buffs tho. The regular Lion Claw is superior in every other way.

​@@alext9711I killed consort radahan with my ultra greatsword and summoned my mimic tear a same thing using savage lion's claw with bleeding damage and it helps me really good in my personal opinion
