For masking data in tables in SAP on SAP GUI side you will have to use UI Masking type of solution that SAP has.

In HANA is it possible to alter a table in "SAPECC" schema to add masking? I want to mask a field in LFA1, can I use an ALTER TABLE statement on a table in this schema? If not, then do I have to do the masking at the HANA Calculation View that I created using LFA1?
