    "JEPI's had a nice run ever since October". This is when I started my position. I only bought 96 shares. I wish I would have bought more.

    I call JEPI & JEPQ my guilty pleasures. Upon all the research I do, I kind of understand why they don't make sense for me to have but idc and it's not like they're anywhere near being my top holdings anyway 🤷‍♂. I'm along for the ride and genuinely interested in seeing where things go with these 2

    I've 6099 shares of Jepi and last month I got $1800 dividend, which is kinda low! I'm looking at SPYI now.

      dont forget their new one qqqi

    • @Antandthegrasshopper
      @Antandthegrasshopper 6 месяцев назад

      @@bunkeyscowqqqi is very tech heavy and it’s PI ratio is too high at this time. Perhaps once it comes down it’ll be a good option.

    I have some SCHD but am building a new position in JEPI. These are solid products.

      Is there a lot of fund overlap?

    • @Jermaphobe777
      @Jermaphobe777 3 дня назад

      @@1Pueblito it doesn't matter even if there is fund overlap, JEPI is a much higher dividend yield rate bc of the covered call strategy. they're different tools. I like SPYD also bc it's kind of in between these two for yield. You also gotta get some ETFs that are more stable during recessions to hedge these. Good luck.

    I'm a dividend investor for current income as well as a Growth/Income investor. Buying JEPI, though nearly done per my investing/budget plan. I also cheated and started investing in JEPQ. Both are in tax advantaged accounts. Pretty happy with each, but as other people have said, these are not the core of my investments. I'm also pretty heavy in S&P 500, doing great right now, and I've started into growth investing. To me, JEPI and JEPQ are good compliments to the strategy I'm currently pursuing. Cheers

    I like JEPI and JEPQ.
    I own 336 shares of JEPI and 3,924 of JEPQ. Adding to both every now and then, but mostly focusing on lower paying equities (1% to 3%) that have a history of raising dividend faster than inflation. JEPI and JEPQ are used just as an income booster so I have more to reinvest as I am retired and target spending less than 80% of income and reinvesting 20% into creating more income. Inflation is ugly and I want to make sure my wife and I can live a little better each and every year going forward.

    I think i would like it, but not sure. seems somewhat stable with reinvested "divs" if you wanted to keep it as a rainy day fund for something that got even wetter.

    Thanks for the video. I finally established a way to increase my net income per month. My 2024 goal is to pay off the house by Sept 2024 (8 years total into a 30 year @ 4%). I have no debt other than mortgage. My 401k, HSA, IRA and emergency funds get maxed out. The mortgage is my last piece of debt left. I don't have any school loan or CC debt. I've made a lot of sacrifices over the years. I'm almost at the debt free finish line.

    Cool video! But tbh each video makes me realize this dude is a rich mf! I’d just like to know how he got so loaded to invest so heavily haha I’ve got around 4 shares of Jepi in my Roth IRA but it’s cause I’ve been diversifying more into VOO, VYM, O and so on but once they reach certain equities I’ll probably go back to buying some more JEPI
