A little tip, try the hospitality for the Villa Women’s games (all at Villa Park this season). Entry to 82 lounge in the trinity 2.5 hours before and an hour after, 2-course meal, 1 free drink voucher, programme and seating middle of the trinity in the padded seats, all for £48 for a adult. Much better value and a good way to enjoy hospitality without breaking the bank
"Much better value"? I don't mean to be appear derogatory, but this is about following Villa's men's team. No one goes to watch the men play because of the hospitality, unless it's free. Why would anybody go and watch the women's team because of the hospitality?
Err, because you’re getting the same hospitality offering for a fraction of the price, besides the women’s game is a good product, and it’s a great way to get the family to the villa, without the cost, aggression and tribalism, give it a whirl, and no, I’m not on commission.

My wife treated me to the Star and Lion in the North Stand yesterday. We enjoyed a similar hospitality experience to yourself. Same food. Great for a big birthday treat. Also met three former players who spoke with everyone. Congrats on your award. Well deserved.
We did Lower Grounds last year for a Conference League game, £120 I think. Unlimited food and drink, nice place to hang out before and after. Would be great on a Saturday with early and late kick offs to watch. Also met Alan Wright and Franz Carr. Was a nice Birthday treat and I suppose you could get your moneys worth. This one doesn’t quite seem worth it, I wonder if the two drinks thing is to stop people getting too rowdy? Anyway, great vid and congrats on your award, fully deserved!
i went in lower grounds last season, it was £75 for season ticket holder. unlimited free food and drinks. then you went and sat in your own seat. well worth price. they have stopped that now. think it's now more than double the price and you sit in trinity.

I’m a long time season ticket holder and do all the aways including Europe but starting to feel a little bit fed up with the team at present. Hospitality looked a proper rip off. Should have been unlimited drinks at least. Beware villa, if your form continues like this you will be left with a lot of empty hospitality and you will have priced the normal villa fan from attending games. No real fans, no atmosphere, and ultimately no revenue.. UTV..

Another great video Max 🙌 I've been biting my lip for so long not trying to rant at some of the football because we have exceeded expectations BUT... I get the sitting off behind the ball and pressing ONCE the player has received the ball but this creates so much space for opposing players! I appreciate the importance of sitting in shape and being difficult to break down, but let's be brutally honest, with the current players, it's not working! Bailey, Konsa, Barkley, Mcginn are not quick enough to press in this shape. For me we need to get a little more "in your face" and not allowing the space in the first place (yes for teams like Liverpool, city etc we need to be a little more cautious) we're ASTON VILLA, we don't need to give some of these teams this level of respect! Emery is incredible and what we are achieving is unreal - take this purely as a rant that we haven't won for weeks! 😅 Keep up the good work UTV!!!
Interesting video Max! Good to have your honest appraisal of both the game and the facilities. I was there in the Upper Holte just along from your usual spot and the atmosphere mirrored the game - messy, good in parts but never what it could be - and overall I left thinking that we have gone backwards in 12 months in relation to our bread and butter game performance. We have brought in loads of players, increased squad depth significantly, and gone backwards. Individual performances, team structure, tactics atmosphere - all diminished. Crisis? Not yet, but two or three more defeats and it’s no more Europe for some time and the bubble will truly have burst. And that would be SO sad. Cmon Villa, we can turn this around!
The run over the period to Christmas is pivotal for the rest of the season. I think I said on this channel a little while ago, I predict we won't finish higher than 9th.

Travellled up from Devon to watch villa yesterday with my son and grandson, villa lacked energy and ideas and to get a point when we needed 3 was disappointing to say the least, not really sure where the next win is coming from 🤔 keep up the great work on your videos 👏👏
My worry is the same, and the fact we are thinking like that shows that the performances and tactics just don't look right and haven't looked right in weeks. We are not creating enough chances, and we are giving away chances constantly. The counter attack goal Liverpool scored from our corner was done again today, which tells me that we have learnt nothing, which is a worry cause it should be obvious. If we don't win either of our next 2, that's 1 win in 9 games which would be poor for any manager, I don't care who they are, you have to start asking questions about the tactics and their set up.
£288 is vastly over priced weather it be a treat or otherwise, £200 tops would be more appropriate, and while we are talking pricing, the charges for match day mascots is an absolute disgrace, I’m disgusted about that, most prem clubs do it for free.

I was in the corner flag bit seems like a similar experience. again it was OK but not worth the £260... when you weigh up the cost of the ticket 2 drinks n a bit of food your looking at a value of about 100 quid

More concerning is why we still have Carlos in the line up and hopefully Konsa, Cash and Digne are back soon. They may not be perfect but are a far sight better than the defence against Palace !
We sit in the vip area of the upper north stand until they changed it all ,now our new seats although the same location are shocking not padded and we are crammed in like Sardines with no long room at all,hope this changes when the new North Stand is built, Great content by the way love your channel UTV ,

That hospitality Max was not bad when you consider you get a ticket worth £55 in the Trinity. £98 each so £43: program, souvenir, two free beers and food plus a bite to eat on the way out, plus point, a padded seat! I would pay that as a treat. I spent well over £100 to sit in the holte, drink at the Tavern and train from Bromsgrove!! As for the Game, it was a bit like your apple pudding, soft and a bit green.
That is really expensive for what was received. I make my comparison with Borussia Dortmund... 2 hours before the game, half time and two hours after the game with waitress service (1 waitress for two tables) unlimited alcohol, top quality unlimited food (4 courses) from a huge selection, two take out beers per half in the stand with bags of chips and confectionary, wifi, and fantastic service.
Very interesting to see the view of the Holte End from the Trinity. The less said about the performance the better, as you said we don’t seem to have learnt from the Liverpool experience. I can’t add to anything you and Simon have covered. It seems bizarre that we have 11 types of hospitality packages, but I think this kinda of thing is good for visitors, they are paying a premium for a one off ticket to the game. Nobody can afford to do this every week so it keeps it open to more people every week, especially on high profile games when general admission is sold out.

I went for my 18th present many many years ago, I think to the Trinity Road suite. Got a complimentary Diet Coke at half time. No food and the beer was extra and the views were worse than most places on the pitch. Remember thinking it was an absolute pisstake then. Good to see they’ve not changed

same view on hospitality ga+ paid £140 for the arsenal game, £160, for the city game coming up and £180 for the bayern game. Its worth it, as a treat, but its not "worth it" week in week out. As a way to get hold of tickets for that bayern game it was 100% worth it, especially with the result. But when you come pare those 3 terrace view prices, with what you get, vs with what you got here, (still got 2 free drinks a programme tvs, seating overlooking the pitch) its way more value for money than what you paid in there! With a little less luxury. All in all i recon hospitality across the ground is all worth it as one off treats. And the drinks in all hospitality are poor, since they are closed all week, beer needs to be pulled regularly through clean pipes to have a chance of being any good. which cant happen anywhere at villa park since its closed for a week or 2 between games.

I was in the corner flag bit seems like a similar experience. again it was OK but not worth the £260... when you weigh up the cost of the ticket 2 drinks n a bit of food your looking at a value of about 100 quid

Congrats on the award Max. I think the hospitality sounds around £100 more than it should be but if it helps the club with profit so if someone wants to pay it, fair enough. More concerning is why we still have Carlos in the line up and hopefully Konsa, Cash and Digne are back soon. They may not be perfect but are a far sight better than the defence against Palace !
We sit in the vip area of the upper north stand until they changed it all ,now our new seats although the same location are shocking not padded and we are crammed in like Sardines with no long room at all,hope this changes when the new North Stand is built, Great content by the way love your channel UTV ,

That hospitality Max was not bad when you consider you get a ticket worth £55 in the Trinity. £98 each so £43: program, souvenir, two free beers and food plus a bite to eat on the way out, plus point, a padded seat! I would pay that as a treat. I spent well over £100 to sit in the holte, drink at the Tavern and train from Bromsgrove!! As for the Game, it was a bit like your apple pudding, soft and a bit green.
Watching us try to defend is terrifying. Teams only need 30% of the ball to beat us. Dreadful

That is really expensive for what was received. I make my comparison with Borussia Dortmund... 2 hours before the game, half time and two hours after the game with waitress service (1 waitress for two tables) unlimited alcohol, top quality unlimited food (4 courses) from a huge selection, two take out beers per half in the stand with bags of chips and confectionary, wifi, and fantastic service.

As for trinity upper...too far away from the pitch to feel involved.
It seems bizarre that we have 11 types of hospitality packages, but I think this kinda of thing is good for visitors, they are paying a premium for a one off ticket to the game. Nobody can afford to do this every week so it keeps it open to more people every week, especially on high profile games when general admission is sold out.
I’m fine with this stuff. If it subsidises regular fans like us and keeps regular ticket prices down then I’m all for it.

i went in lower grounds last season, it was £75 for season ticket holder. unlimited free food and drinks. then you went and sat in your own seat. well worth price. they have stopped that now. think it's now more than double the price and you sit in trinity.

I went for my 18th present many many years ago, I think to the Trinity Road suite. Got a complimentary Diet Coke at half time. No food and the beer was extra and the views were worse than most places on the pitch. Remember thinking it was an absolute pisstake then. Good to see they’ve not changed

You've come along way since the Villa Inbetweeners, the award is well deserved fella. Did you manage to sell/exchange your tickets in the Holte?
same view on hospitality ga+ paid £140 for the arsenal game, £160, for the city game coming up and £180 for the bayern game. Its worth it, as a treat, but its not "worth it" week in week out. As a way to get hold of tickets for that bayern game it was 100% worth it, especially with the result. But when you come pare those 3 terrace view prices, with what you get, vs with what you got here, (still got 2 free drinks a programme tvs, seating overlooking the pitch) its way more value for money than what you paid in there! With a little less luxury. All in all i recon hospitality across the ground is all worth it as one off treats. And the drinks in all hospitality are poor, since they are closed all week, beer needs to be pulled regularly through clean pipes to have a chance of being any good. which cant happen anywhere at villa park since its closed for a week or 2 between games.
