It is easier if you just iron the sweater, by the reverse side, using a wet cloth over the sweater and iron. That's all.
Две полоски в боковых швах, подобранные в основной цвет, выглядели бы гораздо привлекательнее. Такое точно можно надеть только в лес под ветровку.

Я думаю, что это представлено, как идея, а контрастный цвет выбран для лучшего восприятия. И если удачно подобрать цвета, то очень даже может быть.
Я бы вязаные полоски вшила в бока в цвет свитера. Если вообще так дорог этот свитер.
Есть самый простой способ для акриловых вещей - в мокром виде растянуть утюгом!

Firstly that takes far longer then .5 minutes. Secondly it looks totally awful.
Just put the sweater on the back of a dining chair and it stretches the sweater perfect

Good idea! Since it is a Christmas sweater, if the extension was done in the front in green fabric it could be decorated as an ugly Christmas 🎄 tree sweater.

That's how I fixed 3 too-small fleece tops. I added a 2-inch black fleece from the bottom to the end of the sleeve on each side and it fits perfectly and looks nice.

Though I believe this was done in these colors to make it easy for us to follow, I like the contrast in the fabric and colors. I've never been one to have to have everything be an exact match. But, I do think it was done to show us how simple it is to use this method. 😉. TYSM for sharing your techniques with us.
Идея норм. Только надо подобрать белый или красный однотонный трикотаж и сделать эту вставку. А также этот однотонный трикотаж можно сделать на манжеты и на горловину для сочетания. Автор делится идеей, ну, а мы выбираем сами, нужно нам это илм нет. Спасибо за идею и труд. 👍👌🌹

Man muss sehr aufpassen, das beim Nähen beide Seiten exakt gleichlang werden. Besser Kantenband aufbügeln. Ich finde auch das der blaue Stoff zu fein ist für fas Pullovermaterial.

I make these pullovers totally wet ( soaked through) and then I let them dry, streched over a bodyboard for swimming.
Я такую купила. Сзади вставка из черного гипюра. Из рукавов манжетики тоже из гипюра. Так же сзади выше поясницы регулирующие ленточки завязанные бантиком. Очень понравилась.
здесь цвет не нравится,лучше бы красный пришили.. а идея неплоха!

The cut edge of the sweater was serged before sewing to the fabric. You should have shown that part too.

Could’ve at least used a similar color, and added gussets down the side seams. Maybe the color contrast was used to be more visible for the video to show what she was doing?

Credo che l'autrice abbia usato volutamente un colore contrastante per evidenziare meglio la tecnica di trasformazione del capo troppo stretto. Sicuramente un'aggiunta di jersey rosso sarebbe stata più graziosa. Penso comunque che un maglioncino così modificato possa essere indossato solo in casa, non per uscire
