You might want to read the video description ;) Credits also given accordingly on the album and on the Mp3 album. I had her direct permission to record this: at the time I was corresponding with her by email over a Yahoogroup.
SableAradia Regardless of her permission to air her work, Proper documentation requires that you note the original artist where others can see. Basic rule of documentation whether its a term paper, Photo, art work, art work from someone elses photo, or in this case music.
I repeat: read the video description. It's there. Where people can see. You just didn't. It's not in the video because I did the videos in a hurry and according to a basic template, and to be honest, I just forgot to alter the template at the time. But there is no music video in the world that credits Kris Kristofferson as the writer of the lyrics for "Me and Bobby McGee" when the video is of Janis Joplin singing it directly in the video itself, so I'm pretty sure I'm well within the bounds of proprietary and respect. I am a Lady Isadora fan, and obviously I love her music or I never would have recorded it. And I'm pleased to acknowledge her work because a) it's great work, and b) I happen to know from a conversation with her that others *have* used it without her permission in the past, and failed to give credit. I have given credit; you just don't like the manner in which I have done it I guess. Will it make you happier if I add an annotation in the corner that stays on through the video?
There, how's that? Annotation added to the video, which runs the whole length of the video, clearly visible, bottom left hand corner, that repeats the same information I wrote in the video description. Look better to you?
I am afraid they are not. They are copyrighted to Lady Isadora, and I had her permission to record this. But I was able to track her down on Twitter, so probably you can as well? I'm sure she wouldn't mind your chorus group singing it, she'd just like to be acknowledged; or so she said to me when I spoke to her, but I can't speak FOR her, of course.
Beautiful💕🙏💕
Thank you! Cheers!
