Ingredients:
500g fish (white and firm)
(Cleaned, gutted and sliced cross sectional)
ginger garlic paste
1 cup moringa leaves (brède mouroum)
1 onion & 4 garlic cloves (peeled and sliced)
1 tbsp vinegar
1 pinch turmeric powder (saffron)
Curry leaves
2 whole peeled tomotoes
black pepper, salt and oil
1 pinch of ajinomoto

Hello dr...i follow ur recipe...it looks yum
But i do bouillon basse differently..
I paste the oignons ginger n garlic together...i add two curry leaves...green chillies...altogether i allow them to "roussit"....after which i add tomato puree...plus the brede mouroom...they cook n the aroma blends..salt.then i add water...plus fish...plus boil..n i dnt add curry powder to fish before fryong it kills its original aroma....its delicious.

Since you seem to be from the UK, please give me the name of some fish from the UK that comes close to our Mauritian Fish. Fishes that I can fry and do soup, curry and so on. I have just turn pescatarian from vegetarian due to health reason so it'll be great if I can get some fish here that matches that of Mauritius? Thank youuuuuuu

Hi,could u pls explain why u put vinegar before frying and not lemon.

Vinegar is used to keep the fish intact when frying as well to reduce fishy taste and smell
But using ajinomoto is harmful.
