Lapping cylinders to each head bore

Of all the build videos I've watched, I have never seen anyone do this. Well, if it works for valves, I guess it should work for cylinders.

Do you have to do this if you removed the head, and simply torquing back on? Thanks

I just did my cylinders and used fin paste

I have grinding compound that goes from 120 to 180 to 220. Is that good or too coarse?

that can start some conversation
vwdarin has a video where he takes an engine apart that has the buttons and they left huge wear groves in the cylinders
I put them in my last build so i guess I'll find out.
Do you drill your buttons?

I wouldn't use buttons, also I didn't notice in this video which grade paste he used, only use fine !
