@@NowIAmNappy please do a video on how to make products alkaline or acidic. I know of using citric acid or baking soda but I'll love to hear your own point of view 🤩, thanks
As always; great educational content! Back when I first went natural (2006), there were only a few naturals on YT that really broke this down. So glad that your channel is very mature in its content. My hair and I thank you!
I can’t believe I’m just finding your channel today. I’ve been making hair oils, butters and teas for about 3 years. Finding your page has me asking so many questions I thought I knew the answers to. Thank you for the knowledge!
Thank you for this, I recently used a shakakai shampoo rinse and unfortunately it was not a good experience for me. After much research I realised that the pH of shakakai is quite acidic and my low porosity hair hates it, which lead to my cuticles shutting down tightly. I would appreciate it if you could do a video on how to increase the pH of products. Thanks
I’m getting ready to start my diy emulsions and you have been a great help. I wanted to know how to bring the ph of my products down if the mixture is too acidic. Thank you
I'm about to start watching, but I've been aware of needing to test the pH of some of my DIY Ayurvedic hair products. This maybe the video I need to kickstart me doing it finally. 🤔 Edit: Thanks for an informative video. Really interesting! Yes, I'd love to know how to change my products more basic/acidic depending on what I need to change. Please and thank you 😊
OMG THIS WAS SO INTERESTING! I think if I can understand how to master PH I'll be able to FINALLY get a grasp on my hair needs! I can't wait for the next video. I recently had a hair setback after my aunt cornrowed my hair. They were too tight and damaged my hair and scalp. My edges are extremely damaged and I have lesions on my scalp. Any help would be much appreciated!
I am chemist by profession and a new subscriber to your channel, I was amazed at how well you've scientifically explained pH of hair and hair products👍👍
Thank youuuu, I heard that you actually don't have dandruff. You just have to get shampooo and conditioner w a good ph balance. I would love it if you keep doing this types of videos And tell us what products are good w ph balanced
With the teas, you said it would be good to dilute it to a point where it becomes good as a sealant, wouldn't you leave it more acidic so the cuticle layer is open (more suspectible to nutrients) and also that the other products you layer on top close down the cuticle?
I needed that encouragement to stick with u when you started talking cations and iso-whathaveyous Lol so worth it!!! Thank you for the informative video!
im 3 yrs late. hopefully u see this. i love how acv makes my hair lay and manageable but how do i condition the cortex and then lock it in with avc without acv breaking down the product?
Hey 👋🏽 I made a rinse out hair conditioner & the ph strip didn’t change, I was reading something that said if the product is oil based it won’t have a ph but it also contains distilled water. Would you happen to know what it is I’m doing wrong? The strips definitely work, I tried it on my other products & the color changed.
Hi Michelle, thank you so much for discussing this topic! I try to purchase products that list the pH on the package, but I'm doing more DIYs so this is very helpful.👍🏽 Please do a part 2 on how to make to something more acidic or basic.
Check out how to ph balance your hair products by raising or lowering the pH ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html
So what should the PH of a gentle shampoo be?
This is very important. I'm so happy I've began understanding the PH of products. I test the PH of all my products.
Yay, I’m glad it’s definitely so important

You’re so welcome!! I’m glad it is helpful. I just dropped part two to the video ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html

Haha really! perfect timing!!!

Ok sis, I got you covered next week.

I just dropped the next video! I hope you enjoy it
Hello, thank you for your video! Question. What can I use to balance out my Hairgrowth oil?
It's making my scalp itch.
I am chemist by profession and a new subscriber to your channel, I was amazed at how well you've scientifically explained pH of hair and hair products👍👍
Awww thank you hun

Great video! Very informative as usual! Another follow up on how to increase or decrease the pH of a product would really help.
Thanks, Will do Shenice :)
Yes, please do a part 2 on how to make something more acidic or basic.
Just dropped the video, hope you enjoy it
Question! So what’s the range my products should be at? And how can I change it to make it somewhat neutral?
I answered those questions in this video ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html

Yes still leave it acidic but a 3.5 is too low, try to bring the ph up to a 4
OK thanks for clearing that up
Love this was waiting on this from you very informative.i use a pH meter very effective 😊
Ohh which ph meter are you using
Please do a video on how to make DIYs more basic. I have had that problem with a few of the days I have created
Ok just dropped the video ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html
Thank you so much for sharing
You’re welcome hun

Lol so worth it!!! Thank you for the informative video!
😂😂😂😂 thanks for staying until the end. Hope you enjoy part two ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html
GUUURL, PART 2?! Lol I rewatched this one yesterday; I GOTTA go check out Pt.2 !!!
So what is a good ph for a shampoo to have cuticles right for wash and what’s the best ph for conditioner to have that moisture inside the strands ??
Oh for shampoo around 6-6.5 and conditioner around 4.5-5
@NowIAmNappy - would this be true for wavies as well as coily or kinky hair types?
I would definitely be interested in seeing a video on how to bring the pH to a suitable range.
Hey hun, I just dropped the video, hope you enjoy ruclips.net/video/t-oboF64h0E/видео.html

Excellent 🙏🙏🙏
Love this
Our hair in its natural state is postively charged and not negatively charged hun which means it is acidic.
you're right, an error on my part
I want to know how to make a product more basic
Sure thing sis
Great video!

I tested the ph of my hair tea and it's a 3. Looking forward to more info on how to make it more basic. Thank you for this!
I just dropped the next video of how to raise the pH, hope you enjoy it
NowIAmNappy Yes! Going to tune in right now. That’s some real love replying like this! Thank you!!
I have very dry hair and a lot of breakage. I am not sure if this is a result of PH levels. Can you give some insight
Would a hair product with a pH of 6.5 be too neutral or acidic for the hair???
Mam how much ph shampoo value for dry and dandruff hair
How can I test the ph of my hair and scalp ?
Great Video. However u didn't cover all the topics u mentioned at beginning
Which one did i miss??
