J.League Go Go Goal - Sega Saturn -

Amazing looking football game, lovely smooth frame rate and semi high res graphics. Just a shame the game doesn't play as good as it looks. Still it shows what can be done on the Saturn, when it was asked

Absolutely stunning, 480 resolution, 60 frames per second, fully polygon players. How did Tecmo pull this off? This videogame gets my vote for best 3D graphics on Saturn, or any of the Gen-5 consoles, for that matter. This could work as a budget Dreamcast game.
While I certainly agree that the gameplay isn't quite as good as the visuals--the computer is absolutely brutal and merciless, as you can see in this video--Go Go Goal is a technical showpiece that every Saturn owner should have. This is your ultimate ace in the hole when meeting friends who don't believe you when you praise your favorite gaming console. "Whut? Sega Saturn? But Saturn can't doo three dee!" "Oh, yeah? Get a load of this."

Makes you wonder why Sega couldn't do a good version of Virtua Striker on the Saturn . It certainly puts to shame EA's rather dismal efforts on the system

Sega should have picked up this title and slapped the Virtua Striker name on it. This absolutely should have been released in the West. It would have turned a few heads.
