Here is the tubing: amzn.to/3veqA0O (you can choose different colors if you like). Fittings are purchased separately since there are so many different options/configurations. However, with this size tubing, you would select a “6AN to hardline” fitting, in whatever configuration you need (straight, 90°, 45°, male, female… etc). Here is the straight one I used: amzn.to/3RzFg1U
Why not go flexible the whole way? If there is no step notch to have the tubing do gymnastics over, then isn’t flex line a sensible solution? Truck looks great!
That’s a great question! I prefer rigid fuel line for safety when running under the vehicle along the frame. Rocks, road hazards etc… I prefer the hose and flexible lines once it transitions to the engine because of vibrations. Hope that makes sense!
I’ve used rolled tubing before but could never get it really straight even with a tool. You did it with nothing! Thanks for the tip!! Looks great btw
My pleasure, thats what its all about! And thank you!
For future reference on those tubing cutters is a small knife blade to reem your cut ends. LOOKING AWESOME!
Thank you! Love how it turned out. Yessir! The built in reemer works well too.
Thank you for the advice.
I’m doing fuel lines on my 1955 Chevy truck tomorrow morning.
You’re welcome! Just take your time bending your wire and matching up the bends to your fuel line and Im sure yours will come out great. Good luck!
I don’t think that could have come out any better.
Yeah super happy with it. I guess if I used stainless it may have looked a little shinier buy its kinda a pain to bend.
Where did you buy that roll of tubing and can you select a size for the fittings or do those get purchased separate?
