El vídeo es muy claro, cuando dice que tenemos libertad de elegir, y al confiar en Jesús somos Salvos por nuestra fe en Él.

your Logical analogies do not equal Biblical accuracy. Yes we the creatures have free will , yet that free will is CONFINED TO YOUR NATURE (your nature is inherited & sinful). before regeneration, you can sin a lot or a little, pick your poison as it's all poison. Even the so called good things you do are like menstrual rags in Gods view. We are told that the Natural man Can NOT please God, nor understand spiritual things. HOWEVER when God regenerates an elect soul, a predestined soul (YES, Regeneration precedes faith) then in that very instant of being "Born again" your free will now is expanded to include the ability to choose God, to repent, to believe, to please God. So yes, we have free will...That will is confined to your nature (Natural, or regenerate) your icecream analogy while sounding logical and plausible is actually quite unbiblical and disturbing. God the father has chosen those to be his sons bride, and of all those that the Father gives him, jesus will lose none of them, nor turn away any of them. Who are they one might ask?...All who believe! Who are those that will believe?...All the Father has chosen! Get a grip on free will and keep the ice cream analogies for a non Biblical topic.

Thank you so much for your time you took in writing this. The illustration is obviously not a proof for I stated. It functions like a cuphandle on a hot cup of coffee. I.e. it clarifies what I'm trying to say.
The Bible doesn't teach that man can not do righteous things. Jesus during the Sermon on the mount spoke about the righteousness of the Pharisees. The Scriptures are full of Commands given that we can obey.
Also remember that regeneration is upon belief. I made a while video on that.

It means to get a new life. The Biblical promise is: "He that believes on Me hath Eternal life." John 6:47.
So, God chooses all who place their trust in Christ to become Christlike. The Elect is a term always relating to the Nation of Israel.
