I am sorry I missed this video when it was live. I have had Derwent Inktense for at least a year but I have been afraid to try them. But now I am going to get them out and give them a try. Thanks for the video.

I am really loving those Inktense pencils.....they look so Rich & Vibrant!! I am going to have to save and invest in these.
They are a lot of fun and a lot more versatile than they are given credit for that's for sure.

Hej, just had to throw my hat into the ring about the berries 🤗 I think it's rowanberries, we have tons of them here in Sweden. As a kid I had to eat a few a day in my daycare. They are very healthy but not very tasty... 😂
Haha. I'm literally going to message Teresa and ask her what they were and let her know we have a running debate. It's actually bugging me what they are now! Rowanberries is a good one. I looked them up and they look like they could work too.
I use the tombow water based blender and i like it.....but it looks streaky. It never looks smooth. So i tend to layer on top with pencil crayons. Maybe i need to try the alcohol blender next.
I've used the tombow many times without streaks. Is it drying up when you use it? You need a lot of pigment down so that it activates smoothly across the paper too. Too little pigment won't give you enough to move and cover streaks.

Try a dove blender pen for watercolor pencils…Inktense pencils are very pigmented, shouldn’t need more layers
I layer Inktense even with a waterbrush at times. The lighter you put it down, you can use more layers or add shading. That's the fun of them because they don't reactivate. Naturally, you want to get away with one layer, but when I mentioned layering, I was meaning it is best to lay it down light if you're unsure, and then add more on top. I've used waterbrush pens, such as Tombow with my Inktense. In this case, I'm using the alcohol blender marker for an effect :).
