We are the beneficiaries of your focus and tenacity...especially the people who, for whatever reason, chose not to go. Now they can see and HEAR what they missed.

@quisp1492 No he’s not - but there is only one Scott Walker. Props to Beck for covering 2 SW songs at this show and also a song from This Mortal Coil’s second album. I think Beck sings this really well - and let’s face it, it’s one of Scott’s finest songs from the sixties. What is there to complain about really?
@@edwardmulholland7912 I saw Beck recently and I can kind of get, "It's Raining Today" and was delighted to see him sing it. Montague Terrace is a different story. It really showcases the full horsepower and heroic nature of Scott's voice and is thus is not well received who someone else tries it. Imagine someone who is not Celine Dion singing Titanic. Or a non Freddy Mercury singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Certain songs are just owned by their original performers. are
@@quisp1492I agree with you about certain songs that are very different to cover. Did you see/hear the Scott Walker BBC Proms from 2017? Scott actually attended that gig. All the singers did a good job in my opinion and the orchestrion was incredible, better than what Beck had - but they all got criticized for not being Scott! Susanne Sundfør stole the show with her version of “The Amorous Humphrey Plugg”. Check that show out if you have not already heard it - it’s on YT. But be warned! No one sings those songs as good as Scott, but then again who can? Scott’s voice was magnificent.
