“It’s a monitor!” Thanks Greg I would have never known
Thanks Steve!

@@themightypen1530 my bad
I have to give it to them, they got the naming convention down a lot better than most everyone.
Also, props for the included cables.
Most manufacturers have many more different models making naming hard.... Ideally you'd need screen size, resolution, refresh rate, model year, panel type, curved or not curved, maybe HDR capabilities, and suddenly names get very long. Samsung did the whole G5/G7/G9 thing, then they realized making a new monitor with the same name is going to be confusing, so they called the new ones Neo G5/G7/G9, what are the next ones going to be, Neo Neo G5/G7/G9?

When EVGA left Nvidia, NZXT asked on Twitter if they should start making GPUs XD
Who knows what they'll do next.
i mean im down for an RTX 4090 Nzxt gpu
Not gonna lie, an NZXT graphics card, if done right, would be good. I have faith that they'll make a sleek, mature design offered in black or white. And as much as I care about function over form at the end of the day, some more mature designs for GPUs would only be a good thing.
Lol theyll block off the intake for the gpu
They should make a front airflow style cooler, for front to back airflow, like the ones on server GPUs, so they can choke it extra hard with their cases.
I’m down for arc nzxt
I'm in the market for a second monitor to add to my ultrawide setup now that I am moving into a larger space. Thank you so much for showing this! It's nice to have an option with no stand. I already plan to place both displays on a dual arm.
Asrock has monitors now too. Their top monitor has Bluetooth & WiFi 6, so less cables to run.
I'm hoping EVGA comes along and does other products since they won't be doing Videocards anymore. Its their customer service and how well they take care of their customers. They're build quality is pretty good and I like their PSU's. But if they start making peripherals and other things, I'd be interested.
They make capture devices, sound cards, keyboards, and mice.
Customer service seems to only apply to US, me and a good few friends bought into EVGA cause of customer support (EU & UK) and the quality of support we get is horrible
@@ElSkeppo that's because Europe doesn't believe in customer support or paying 2% for NATO. /s
But for real, European customer support is terrible. I've heard it from plenty of Europeans visiting the US.
The intro with Greg peaking around from behind that box while grinning is worth a thumbs up alone.
I may have missed it. But does this come with a fire extinguisher?
I like it because it has features and it's no-nonsense. I've been looking at a high refresh monitor to augment my 4k 60hz monitor for editing and watching movies. The screen looks clean, like all NZXT equipment. The main thing is, what other monitors compete with it for specs and price, and does this have a compelling reason to be bought over the others? Is it just "it does what it says on the tin, and it might match your other NZXT gear" or is there something special here?
Ngl I wish monitor makers could make stands that push the monitor practically up against the wall rather than having the arm push it quite a few cm away, small desk problems and I wish I could get some good distance from it haha.
Wait so it doesn’t have the power brick, you have to buy it separately for it to work?
looks decent - mind you I've had nothing but hassle using NZXT CAM software. Maybe it's ok on its own but the minute I have RGB Fusion or even MSI afterburner running, crashes happen. Also reports my liquid at 0 degrees at all times on my Kraken AOI, so that's also broken
Silly question but would y’all use this for FPS games? I’m lookin to play some competitive shooters and want 200+ FPS
It's going to be hard for anything to overtake my Samsung Odyssey G7. 240hz is incredibly crisp.
Selling the stand separately is genius on their part, not only does it make the package weigh less but it also cuts down shipping costs for nzxt. Also a bonus for consumers to pay a bit less.
So it’s essentially an overpriced monitor just like everything else they sell…
I'd call it a mixed bag , it is always nice to have a stand included with a monitor even if you don't use it.Also $40 for a stand seems high.
@@christophervanzetta it’s actually pretty reasonably priced in competition with the other similarly spec monitors
As long as it's well priced, and cheaper without it, then that's ok. Anything else is BS
@@christophervanzetta i just got the 27q for 50% off on their site 👍
Is this monitor actually NZXT? I mean at least some of their their PSUs are actually Seasonic, they even have that same fan control button on the back next to the power switch and a long 10 year warranty. It's a good thing they partnered with an expert in the business though, unlike Gigabyte. I don't like that they list HDR400 since HDR is basically nothing at all until HDR1000.
I just checked the site and they have the 32’ QHD curved for $289. Not bad IMO%
I was skeptical since its from NZXT but after watching the video it doesn't seem too bad. I was able to grab an AOC IPS 24in 1080p monitor with 165hz for $180. I don't think 240hz is really necessary at the moment but it's good to see its not overpriced
I picked up a 32" 2k msi monitor from Walmart for $200 a couple weeks ago.
@@LeoInterVir im ngl, walmarts been carring shit. My local one has an 24in ultra gear for $140.
@@pierreplayfair I've gotten so many random clearance items over the years.
Some years back I got a Dell laptop with i7-8700H and a 1050ti for $500.
For deals I look on Slickdeals and Brickseek.
I picked up a 25F for $100 the other day when they were on sale. hoping its as good as youre saying here!
You say, “you don’t really need a high refresh rate [for racing games]”. You might want to look into that a bit. There have been some folks who have tested the effect of high refresh rate monitors for racing sims. They showed a marked improvement in their lap times with 120hz monitor. There were still improvements with a 240hz monitor, but not nearly as much as the delta between 60hz and 120hz.
Of course, it’s only the newest gen consoles that will push refresh rates higher than 60hz. So the difference will be most utilized with PC sim racing.
The 1080p monitor they say it being HDR 400 certified but how do they do that through HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 where both doesn't have HDR support? HDR Support only got available with DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0a.
NZXT only need to make RAM, AIB GPU (no matter AMD , Intel, or Nvidia), Keyboard, and Mouse, and we have 100% full "NZXT System"
Keyboards they do have
@@alxnd_r6345 Mice, too.
Informative video. Might be time to replace my outer displays!
27" at 1080p is a bad idea, you can see pixels. You should go 1440p at that resolution at least
Thank you for the well detailed review.
Its not a bad video but its a sponsored showcase its not a detailed review.
Hi Greg. Thanks! Hope you are well!
The mount system looks exactly like my old Dell ones.
the whole stand mechanism looks like the one that comes with lenovo AiO thinkcenter
Probably is.
sadly no news if they want to make updated version of these monitors to this day
Honestly my old ass 1080p AOC monitor is still good for me I am person that doesn’t really care about playing over 60 and over 1080 sure I’ve played in 4K and 144hz and it’s… really nice lol. This monitor is really simple and tall, might consider one day. NZXT makes the best clean minimalistic designs imo.
For the first few seconds, I thought my PC had randomly switched audio output to my headphones (again). 🤣
I bought this monitor and its good other then the fact theres no audio coming out of the monitor and i cant figure out why
I have a question can a psu be fixed because it sound makes a weird sound 2nd question how to make my pc more quiet
27inch 1080p screen in late 2022 is crime
Im still happy with my still working bought new from Frys Viewsonic VG2021M…!
Greg not starting a video with „This here is….“ should be illegal
Obviously NZXT isn't manufacturing their own LCD panels. Do you know who the panel is from? LG? Samsung?
99% of monitor makers don't make their own panels. What's your point?
@@kadrix732 Which is exactly why I'm curious. I prefer LG panels over Samsung for example.
Is it a table?
Is it a Swiss Army Knife?
Is it Thermal Paste?
I think I'd rather have the gigabyte models that RTINGS reviewed well. Both have better hdr colors and should be similarly bright. Curious that they think they are top 15% for brightness but probably goes to show that the hdr monitor market sucks right now as hdr 400 especially with only 84% dci p3 color space isn't really remarkable in any regard. Personally I'm waiting for cooler master mini-led monitors as they are supposed to be reasonably priced and can do HDR 1000 and I think will be a bit better than the Sony m9 monitor. No issue with the stand not being included even some high end stands suck (looking at you Sony) so I can just get a higher quality one if I need.
it looks like the value line of Samsung monitors, especially the joystick control on the back the stand shape. I would be a paycheck that whomever makes those FOR Samsung or Samsung itself makes these.
cant wait for the NZXT gaming xxx toys that need to come in 2023
Then what about Hyperx monitor? Hyper Armada 1080p 144Hz
They’re Dell monitors with an NZXT logo - not that it’s a bad thing, but whatever ODM makes the midrange Dell displays very obviously makes these too.
If they made a 4K 27 inch with 145mhz+ I might make the jump but right now I can't go back to 2K or 1080
ill be honest bout time a company came out with something with a good price to performance
I believe you were looking for x,y,z axis for the way the monitor can be adjusted
I think in the ShortCurcit video they said it's HDR was really bad and blown out.
👀
I'd love to use anything NZXT, especially CAM, but I got so burnt when I learned they were just using it to harvest and sell data.
Haven't been in a hurry to get any of their stuff ever since
look like good monitors i probably be looking into it more
go away scammer
im glad the power brick isnt built in because i rarely replace monitors so if it ever broke rather replace that in 5 years then get a new monitor
YO GREG!!! Will you do a ARC review vid and can you do a colab with DAWID for that vid...
This is clearly some OEM monitor that NZXT just slaps their logo on, seems to be the trend with these computer peripheral companies, though it seems like Asus seems to be the that has the most to actually have some R&D put into their monitors.
If WZ doesn’t ghost at 240 on the 25 I’m sold 👊🏼✌🏻❤️
No included monitor stand? How very Apple of them...😛 I must say to make it even more Apple and give it that more of a NZXT feel to the product I think it would have been nicer to see an all silver one or titanium one but of course that would have cost more...
if you have a wall or desk mount already, dont need stand…
Hey, don't be like that... Apple charges you full price for the monitor and overcharges you by like $900 for the stand that's missing :P
i doubt nzxt produces them because they are way to familiar to some msi monitors which makes me believe that they have the exact same oem producer.
if they make GPUs,motherboards, ram it will be a great all nzxt pc
looks good with reasonable pricing
NZXT selling samsung panels and ASrock motherboards rebranded as NZXT.... I love their pre-build's but their products are just stickers with a markup on someone else's product.
This should be good as everything else that nzxt makes
Glad they don’t put a stand in with it. One less monitor/TV stand to take up space in my attic. 😂
the aiming up and down is pitch
Soon, NZXT will make dining table with different styled legs and its frames with built in AIO and computer case that also transforms into couch and bed with-
...with a combined cigarette lighter and coat hanger.
And you must run CAM in order to eat
Only $100 for the single arm mount that is not a bad price.
My thing is, I find it really hard to believe that a company like NZXT or gigabyte or even asus will be able to produce a better monitor at a compelling price than the companies like Samsung, LG, or Sony can - companies that basically dominate both the tv and monitor segments. These computer component companies are so small in comparison to them and there’s no way they can match their R and D and their years of experience not to mention their scale. I like nzxt and own one of their cases, I just don’t feel like we needed another company in the monitor space.
they're using panels from Samsung or LG so it doesn't really matter
@@kai_444 I know that but think about it - is tiny NZXT going to know how to make their panels better? Sony uses LG panels in their OLED tv’s, but they add their own chips and tech and make their panels even better. But that’s Sony, a huge company that makes tons of LED TV’s of their own. They have tons of tech knowledge that they can put into their products to make them better. Does NZXT have that? Nope. And is Samsung and LG going to be giving them their BEST panels? I doubt it. I’m pretty sure they reserve those for themselves.
Greg looks like he pumps a light of iron😂
I like curved monitors, so that would something I'd like to see them do to the 32". For me, it doesn't make much, if any sense on a 27" or smaller monitor.
I have a 32" curved monitor. I enjoy it. Find it better than flat panels.
@@LeoInterVir Totally agree. I have one as well. Dell S3220DGF. REALLY nice curved 165 Hz panel, but it cost me an arm and a leg and then within a few months, the price dropped quite a bit. I was choked.
@@Viking8888 if you're looking for monitors, try Walmart. No one really buys them so they go on deep clearance. Got a 32" curved 1080p last year for $155. Last month I got a flat 32" 2k for $200.
Just a reminder that the 32 version Q is a VA panel compared to the 27Q which has IPS
how shit tho not including a stand not everyone uses aftermarket stands
Is it wasn't for CAM, I'd like NZXT
1080p = Best on 24 inch
1440p = Best on 27 inch
crazy. love the videos
I appreciate it!
Nzxt will start making cpus next that's the only thing they are missing at this point
10x to Dell for Making NZXT Monitors now :D
What's up everyone
They look pretty interesting. Nice price. For me, the 32-inch 1440p monitor is most interesting.
If NXZT CAM in 2022 doesn't even have a resizable app I don't trust anything from them, incompetence.
I spent 450 on a 50 inch 4K TV with 144Hz refresh, G-sync and VRR. Those seem to be overpriced for FHD tbh.
You're comparing completely different form-factors, resolutions, etc. Quick Amazon search for 27" 1080p 240Hz panels and you'll see they're all between $200 and $300.
@@GregSalazar 200+ for FHD? oof, overpriced.
@@ChrisWijtmans 280hz. That also adds price.
@@TheSjuris i dont think so. Whether its a 10$ chip or a 20$ chip wont make a huge dent in the overall price its the panel itself. The question is why do they still insist on making 1080p options in the modern days? Well i know the answer ofcourse, margins. So they can sell their panels at higher resolutions for more even though it only cost them maybe 5$ more to produce a higher resolution panel(excluding the more expensive chip).
Because not everyone has the latest graphics card to able to play comfortably on 1440p
Its £300 for the 27Q , only the monitor without the stand HMMM 🤔
Thanks for letting us know NZXT makes monitors, but I'm going to wait for a non-sponsored review from people who understand monitors like Tim from Hardware Unboxed.
Day 30: woah they make monitors now...isnt that like a good thing?
Well, I don't know, this monitor doesn't look that special to me. It's not that cheap, performance is so so, average of NZXT I guess
Also does reading out questionable spec sheets like "1 ms response time" count as an objective review? All of this, including stretching the definitions of suitable for professional content creation, etc. as well as "only" mentioning the positive side of the monitor without comparing it to similar alternatives, leaves a sour taste in my mouth
Why is every brand starting to sell overpriced monitors?
margins i guess.
I only play in VR so thanks anyway.
Def NO hate....... But defending it not having a stand is a little bit unethical IMO. You would not let that slide on a non-sponsored video, Greg... Still love you but please be consistent
NZXT’s aims this to be a modular monitor, you can buy a black or white Panel on your liking and you can buy the stand separately with a black or white version. Its also good for buyers who already has a monitor arm or planning to mount it. It’s cheap to buy it online for the postage because the packaging comes with no stand(which usually heavier than the monitor itself) and lastly, could save you $$ by just buying the panel and your preferred monitor arm.
sad part NZXT don't make it , it just a LG rebrand as NZXT
That's the case for MOST monitos out there, just FYI.
oooooookay? i mean its not that special gigabyte, corsair, asus and many more pc companies make monitors
ooooooookay?
Do they make it or have they bought a bulk lot of Chinese monitors and slapped their name on it ?
The word is tilt.
Monitor without a stand is so Apple momment
Tilt. It's called Tilt. 🤣🤣
Is that a Dell? I mean, it looks a lot like a Dell.
This company is horrible to it's customers. They have a horrible "Better Business Bureau" rating and it speaks for itself. They won't even sell you a cooler for their case that'll burn down your house, lol.
It's a fairly generic product, nothing there that other manufacturers aren't already doing and that isn't already available in the marketplace
I have three 43" 4k monitors for my main rig. I could never go back to 27" or below 4k resolution, let alone just one monitor. That's stuff from 15 years ago.
Cool story cuz
they make WHAT?
i have 2 AOC monitors
Looks like an acer predator rebranded
i mean why not even reddragon makes monitors
27 inch fullhd , not a great option
Be careful it may catch fire :)
