When I was growing up in the late 80’s, the so-called Osho scandal came to limelight. I had back in those days had no idea about this man and pretty much aligned my outlook about Osho with the people who had no idea what this man was bringing to the mankind. After reading his words, philosophy and so on and with realization gradually seeping in to my mind, I honestly feel today, how immature I had been. Without even reading his books, following his message I concluded on this man to be a devil, a man creating disruption and anarchy, a sex pervert and so on. Shame on me!!!! What really hurts me is that we have killed living Socrates of our time. After having spent almost three decades studying in the fields of religion, genetics and cosmology, I have found this man talked about things which many scientists claim to have spoken first but later to find was already spoken by Osho. Osho is a man whose philosophy needs critical understanding from a wide array of discipline. I will never claim him to be a god by any standards. He like many other super humans like (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and so on) predicted things that which later were found to be wrong. That’s natural, politicians are doing deliberately everyday and so do you see the evangelical preachers who through fear mongering techniques skim their followers’ pockets!!!!!! They grew organic food, had public telephones, restaurants, icecream etc. Imagine this commune in 2021, using renewal energy, electric cars, have hospitals with the latest technologies, a lot of automatition made to ease up people's job so they have more free time for meditation and hobbies and more important, people living without frustration, hate... Osho should have taken the responsibility for his disciples at the very least. The whole commune got destroyed, just because he was in public silence which was the reason for the communication gap. The idea of the such a utopian commune belonged to Osho, but he didn't took sufficient responsibility on his shoulders. He should have actively involved himself in the management and should have been involved in labour activities, Should have stopped his sanyaanis for creating hostile environment around the county, he should have practiced love which he actively vouched for; but when it came to love locals for antelope, he and his commune failed... Only once he did say that he can make predictions, and he made a prediction that failed. So it's great, you can now be sure that he is a fake. Great intelligence, great insight you have. If we learn meditation from them, then they're helpful. If we learn bullshit from them, then they're not helpful. Osho was a well read philosopher....a rebel. A critical thinker.
Was he enlightened in the same way the Buddha, Jesus or Lao Tzu was? I don't think so. Osho's intentions were good. I totally understand what he was trying to do here, but this type of project will always fail as long as there is so much opposition to it.
There are many ppl like him in the world today and have been in the past.... wise men and women, who see things differently..... but we don't know about them, because they are not interested in creating a commune or changing the world.
Why is that? Well, either because they don't have the desire to lead others or because they know that the world isn't ready....most people are not ready to live in the kind of world/society Osho dreamed of......
And you can never create this type of society by force. It will happen naturally......one day......when the world is ready for it.

The idea of the such a utopian commune belonged to Osho, but he didn't took sufficient responsibility on his shoulders.
He should have actively involved himself in the management and should have been involved in labour activities, Should have stopped his sanyaanis for creating hostile environment around the county, he should have practiced love which he actively vouched for; but when it came to love locals for antelope, he and his commune failed...

OSHO's wisdom could disect mountains of granite like a hot knife goes through butter, yet it was so sensitive and soft. He changed my life forever, i cannot ever thank him enough. I used to be angry at people who hated him (for no reason in my opinion), but now i understand that like any other Budha, he was way ahead of his time and unfortunately the vast majority of people, the ones that shape the world as we see it, have such a small capacity to understand other than daily routine: eat, drink, sleep, survive the day, repeat. I've looked into Sadhguru (he's only a parrot), and into others. If we learn meditation from them, then they're helpful. If we learn bullshit from them, then they're not helpful.
I find Osho to be a good deprogrammer; he's also great at imparting and proving his meditation in action. His devices are so unique... and he worked at the same time with all kinds of mentalities: atheists, christians, buddhists, hindus, all kinds of prejudiced minds he had to destroy, and at least in my case he succeeded in cleaning me of my christianity: I thank him for that. Many atheists tried to cure me of christianity but they all failed. Only Osho succeeded. So fuck god, and fuck Osho too if you like ('fuck' in the sense that he is not to be worshipped.). So I don't worship Osho, but I love him and thank him, my life is colorful because of him. I own everything to him... And I've never even met him in person.
I am infected by him. And this infection is becoming more and more juicy: when I see his sannnyasins dancing happily like mad, I can understand them because I am tasting the same just by seeing Osho's photos or reading his books. If I were to be phisically near him I'd for sure fall on the ground, with my walls and ego destroyed completely. Of course all this is getting stronger and stronger as I continue to meditate. It's not his doing, it's just a dance that I'm in tune with , that's all, and that dance doesn't belong to anybody.
