- Revolution Bike Park has some of the best downhill mtb riding in the UK, and the world. But one thing that it's so insane for is it's freeride jump lines. 50:01 and Vision line are unreal, and during this video I discovered that you can link the two lines together for the ultimate MTB jump line. I took my Alpine Trail Enduro bike with the latest suspension upgrades from Brink, and wow... it's honestly transformed my trail bike into a DH brake bump machine! And still feels so good on the jumps and smaller features. This was the best day. Enjoy!

Back in the 70s I would never ever have imagined that bike technology and sheer human skill could evolve into this!!
...It really is amazing to watch these guys who have grown up in a time where the expectation is very high to be able to achieve remarkable stuff like this.
If I were able to do this as a youth ...... I would have been hailed as a "proper nutcase". .. which meant you were "Hard and respected" haha.

@@whynot9073 The cool wind on the fingers is definitely not healthy. You won‘t notice any problems when you are younger but the older you get the more obvious problems with the joints will become.

Things someone who’s never done this doesn’t understand: 1. How does the bike not slip away from under you when you turn corners on mud and loose gravel? 2. How fast are you actually going, generally (it looks super fast on the camera footage). 3. How do you not get thrown by hitting rocks and stumps that you arrive on too quickly to avoid? 4. How do you land straight enough after a big jump so that the bike doesn’t slip out and leave you crashing down onto your side? I’d be doing these rides with the soles of both feet skimming the mud in case I fell to either side lol

I aspire to be able to ride like this. I just started riding in my early 30s and I wish I had started sooner. Keep doing your thing gentlemen it looks like you are living right. Stay upright.
I’m a very experienced rider, but the first time I ever made it to a park I tore my rotator cuff and it’s not really usable right now at least. Downhill can be very tech and tech most of the time is harder than flow and jump sections(depending on the severity of them) I would ride your bike into the woods and work on some tech features on flat ground first because they don’t ride like you think they would, even on dual suspension bikes with some speed. These feature include wet flat and jagged rock, dry wet and jagged rock, gravel, loose rock, dry and wet roots, and try drops before you really have to commit to a hill. You will see that even though you have a taste of what can happen it will still be insanely different on a true downhill track. This story isn’t to discourage you but rather to let you know what happens if you aren’t truly prepared for what’s in the park. I actually tore my rotator cuff exiting the park so don’t be scared of the trails just cautious.

Thanks. Ya I've seen some bad crashes on regular trails so I can only imagine. Was trying to practice as much as possible be for even considering any real downhill tracks. Had a Achilles injury and that has kept me off for awhile. Can't wait to get back at it. Thanks again and take care.

Putting some serious Cane Creek forks transformed my trail bike as well. It's very nice to be able to ride up a couple thousand feet in elevation and send the same bike down DH tracks. Gotta take care with what the seat is doing, but is otherwise great.
The amount of time I imagine you spend cleaning your bikes must be horrendous.
