The firsr time I heard Blaine singing this version of Teenage Dream I was SOBBING!!! It was so heartbreaking! Oh my God! If I Die Young will never not make me cry. I remember finding out about Cory's death in the middle of the night, he was the same age as me, and I wasn't even able to cry properly because everyone was sleeping, so I just sat in my living room, reading every headline, still in disbelieve, my mind couldn't understand. Then, when Naya passed, it was so hard too, the waiting, the not knowing if she was still alive. I just hope her kid is as happy as she would want him to be.

Kurt's version of "I wanna hold your hand" was really powerful and sung beautifully. Chris Colfer did an amazing job! I rarely pay attention to people or bands that cover Beatles songs but I was watching this episode with my daughter and this song hit me hard. I lost my dad in 2002 and seeing the montage of Kurt and his dad brought back memories of me and my dad.

The Jane Lynch character made me finally tune out. Ugh! Too bad 'cause I was raised on Broadway and the American songbook and Glee did a great job with it. And not just for bringing it to a new audience.
