In the Manga they showed a part of the written exam. It was simply a series of elaborate situations about many types of powerful foe and then an essay style "What would you do?" question. Saitama simply answered "I'd punch them" to every question. He got the max possible score on the physical part of the exam, but failed the written part and his aggregate score was just barely enough for him to pass as a low C-Rank Hero.
Saitama is never turning down food... those habits die hard, he got them when being a full-time-hero the past 3 years without getting paid. ^^ He hunts wild animals too. Watch the OVAs of season 1, there it will be specified. Right now, u can react to OVA 0, 1, 2, and 3 without spoilers. There are 6 OVAs for each season.

The definition of a cyborg is "a fictional or hypothetical person whose physical abilities are extended beyond normal human limitations by mechanical elements built into the body." So the guys you were talking about from episode wearing the battle enhancement suits aren't cyborgs.

Doesn’t necessarily have to be a fictional person. You could definitely consider people with some types of mechanical implants today to be early cyborgs. Of course they are not anywhere near Genos in capabilities, but being able to hear when you otherwise couldn’t etc still is pretty cool. 😎 👂

So, Fun Fact: Saitama didn’t actually eat all of Kombu Infinity(the Seaweed Monster), Saitama just stripped him bare of almost all of his seaweed to cook them, which prompted Kombu Infinity(the Seaweed Monster) to run away in fear and shame, so Young Mr, Seaweed Monster is still alive.
Saitama kept running around the city super fast from noon to evening and took like a 3 second break to catch his breath before walking away like nothing happened. The sheer stamina of this guy. Jeez

Difference between robot and cyborg is 1- Robots are Just machines with AI intelligence. 2- Cyborgs are humans turned machines with their human emotions, memories etc. 3- than their are Humans that only wear machine suits (they are not cyborgs neither robots, just having a weaponized suit, like Iron man who is not a cyborg or robot) 4- And than there are Robots that are drones. meaning thay are controlled from far away instead of being a independent machine
My personal theory on his insane strength and endurance is just that he always wanted to be the hero he is, taking out bad guys with a single punch he said in that first episode, and he eats the monsters he kills, where they are food based, konbu (seaweed?) and crab at least. In effect, he is a monster, hence his monstrous power, but he only ever wanted to be a hero, so he didn't turn into a monster. Just my thoughts on his power. Lots of people have lots of thoughts on why he's so powerful. Ultimately, he is, because he is written that way, there may be no other reason. (shrug) Oh well.

Saitama continually fought monsters, pushing past his physical limits in every fight, until he reached the point he is at now. He grew addicted to that feeling, but no one can bring him to the limit of his power anymore. So far, his baldness and lack of emotions hasn't been explained, to my knowledge.

The only thing Saitama needs to pay for is food, so he does need money, but not much. The whole city is abandoned because of the monsters, so nobody can live there except the two of them. Some of the Hero Association know that Saitama is extremely powerful, but they don't know if he's reliable or competent, so he still has to prove himself.
Y'all the first I've wanted to follow all the way up to the S1 finale. It's so fitting. I understand the slight frustration of Saitamas overwhelming power but it's fun watching y'all get to the end 💁🏽🤞🏽☺️
One of my favorites, along with death note. Both are really dark animes. I have binge watched overlord a lot. Would be great to get caught up before the new season drops. Would like to see them watch reincarnated as a slime and rise of the shield hero too
What's really weird is that the cyborg gorilla is named “armored gorilla and when you see him later, he has no armor and just seems like he's a regular gorilla lol and since wearing armor isnt robotic at all, he's not a cyborg... but since he can talk, maybe he is? I think it might purposely make no sense lol.
Armored Gorilla has cyborg parts under his armor. He also has a communication device in his skull, if you recall. So yes, he's a cyborg. Pay attention to his bare hands when we see him later on.

That was more of a small sword than a rapier. Rapiers are much longer and heavier than people think they are.
