i always find that good medics are really goddamn good at surfing rockets/bullets and dodging. if they weren't playing medic, they'd probably be amazing scout players with their unrivalled jukes.
Very informative, as silly as it sounds I'd never considered using anything other than the ubersaw with the vaccinator but you make perfect sense. I have a similar amount of playtime as you in Medic and I want to consider myself decent at him, but I'd worried that I didn't have the playtime to justify it. Thank you for that ending segment and I'm probably gonna try out vacc + solemn vow ^^
You're welcome, buddy! I'm happy that the video turned out to be informative, that was teh intended purpose. Vax + Ubersaw is sometimes a good combination when you play against bots: just pop a bullet bubble before crossing a bot sightline, then switch quickly to the ubersaw, hit the bot, change back to Vax and pop for the 25 % gain and repeat. This only works on bots that don't have working melee crit bucket hacks. For normal play against humans it's OK but not really necessary.
It doesn't change upon getting hit, does it? The crosshair changes when I deal damage, that's a setting your can do when making a custom HUD in ToonHUD.
He was the healing and uber target that could do the most damage. In this situation it was the right call, he killed half of the enemy team and we could win the game by it.

You are right, damage surfing to get out of risky situations is super important. I should have included that somewhere, too ;)
Medic main here i can say damage surfing has saved me countless times from other dmg like rockets or even a sentry
nah, its the cocaine flowing trough the medic's vains, thats how they do it, its the only class they can do it. saying form experience
