A good, small but plenty grill, for sure! I especially like that it isn't just a one way lateral-bar grill, but crossed. Like you said... we've all lost food to the fire gods off our grills before... this is a great alternative, and a great price as well. Thanks Ben.
Hey, I like this little set up. I would even use this in my back yard over a small fire, can’t get around easily, so this would be my own little adventure. I think the pricing is slammin ! Thanks. Tony
Yeah I got one a few weeks ago when they finally became available on amazon. I used it weekend before last for my steak. Finally got to camp with William Meyer. Will was chef and cooked our steaks the second night on a log. Both ways were good.
Great review - thanks! I snagged a set a while back when it randomly popped up in Amazon. I'm like you in that I've been looking for something like that for a long time - everything is always lame or super expensive. This little grill hits the spot.
I have that same grill Ben, I have not had a chance to use it but I'm very impressed with the design and build quality. I also picked up the large UCO Flat Pack BBQ/fire pit.........for those times when I'm car camping where there isn't an existing fire ring. Check it out!
Sweet. I was just looking at this grill. I was really interested in a Purcell trench grill they seem awesome but are fairly expensive. This grill is hard to beat for the price. Thanks for the review.
I don't know why, but I have never done shrimp in the back country? That looked phenomenal! I use a similar size grill. Just a suggestion, I wrap it in wax paper to keep it from jacking up the bag. Also makes good fire starter in a pinch. Thanks for the idea.
Only one small problem with lightweight grills like that...them fine wires will bend and conform to a really wavy waffel effect and then eventually break apart. But I love them.
D. Alex Oprea. If I remember right, He gave this one a whirl but didn't really care for it. So he went back to using the one his pal made for him, the one he sells on his website. I think. Don't quote me on it.
I recently ordered one of these the other day can't wait to get it and try it out, I've been using a cheap packable grill and it has worked pretty good but it's easy to lose food and this looks like it will solve that. Great video can u or anyone recommend a good quality packable down jacket that isn't overpriced?
Thanks sooooo much for sharing this with me!!! I've been thinking about a small grill like this. With my health I'm always looking for something to make life easier. Thanks much and blessings to you and your family 😇 🇺🇸 p.s. thanks for the link I'm ordering two!!
#LivingSurvival Nice review, was looking at this before your video, so that made my decision, haha. At this point, what is your favorite lightweight, backpacking wood stove?
Hey finally a product Amazon Canada has and is affordable for us too. Only $18! I personally don't like the bag it came with. But I did like the thick zip lock bag
So why do I think that the "Primitive Tech" guys are about to have a Stroke? And the Bushcraft "Purists" are probably going to say you need to weave something out of Green Saplings if you need a Grill. But Screw 'Em! We live in the 21st Century, not in the Dark Ages! 9x5? Stainless Steel? Made in the US of A? Less than $20? Hell, I'll MAKE room in my Pack for that! Heck, you could Boil Up TWO Steel Water Bottles at the same time and not have to wait to get some Coffee while you're cooking up your Ramen! Thanks Ben! Now commence "Shrimp on the Barbie" Jokes in Three, Two, One.....
SLAMMIN’
i have this item too along with the small one they fit in a kit-- these things ROCK!
Very timely. I just received that 2 grill set. And I also have the Firebox Nano and hope to use the small grill on it. Thanks!
Got mine last week. Perfect size and fits in my pack. Looking forward to using it when out camping and fishing.
Man!!!! You have really upgraded the video quality. Great job.
Looks pretty sweet. Just grabbed a set on Amazon. Thanks for the review.
The shrimp looked good; but that venison looked fantastic!!!

your shrimp looked delicious!!! neat little grill!! and kettle
Nice, I've got one. I wedge it between two pieces of greenwood so I can control the height.
Great review - thanks! I snagged a set a while back when it randomly popped up in Amazon. I'm like you in that I've been looking for something like that for a long time - everything is always lame or super expensive. This little grill hits the spot.
I bought one. The welding on a few spots were kind of jacked up, but over all it's pretty nice.
I order the grill three days ago from Amazon, the grill arrive February 7th I hope I can just in a few days
Great find, thanks for sharing.

SWEET, been looking for one. Thanks Ben
First thing you’ve reviewed that I already had. Won’t have to buy one.

I think this is the one Joe Robinet has used for a long time.

Very nice grill, very useful! Like the kettle too. What's the trail dust seasoning? Did you eat all that shrimp!

Nice kettle!
It is a perfect size. Ben pass me a shrimp skewer. Slammin! Awesome kettle as well how did you like it?
awesome video
Is that some rust on the grate? Either way , an awesome cool grate for outdoors. Thanks
Thank-you :)
#LivingSurvival Nice review, was looking at this before your video, so that made my decision, haha. At this point, what is your favorite lightweight, backpacking wood stove?
Awesome. I an getting one. Ty
I own one of those grills and I love them... the kettle looks great but I don’t trust aluminum...
Nice grill 16.97 for a two piece kit and bag on Amazon, got one in my list
Atb John
Hope the family is doing well !
Simple and effective. What’s not to like?
Ben, you said Neoprene handles on the kettle. Did you mean silicone?
For the price and being a USA made item, it doesn't look like it can be beat.
got it, but ty for the review.......
ruta locura titanium grill is the one i want..lightest out there..
The little one might fit inside a bush pot to allow you to bake in your pot tuned on it's side. Have you tried that?
I have the 12 Zebra Pot and it is just too big to fit but it would probably fit in the 14.
Good stuff!!!
Hey finally a product Amazon Canada has and is affordable for us too. Only $18! I personally don't like the bag it came with. But I did like the thick zip lock bag
yep, could easily make a canvas bag for it as an alternative.
That is a very affordable price for a rally nice product (if you live in the USA)
I prefer something like this over a stove, much lighter and smaller.
Awesome

That looked slammin and I don't like shrimp
So you hike with meat?
rediculous prices for that though.........
Spank dat ass
Likey Here Most Also !
I ordered one and it was absolute junk. From broken wields to the carry bag. There are much better options on Amazon.
Excellent video as always
