I never heard of a Conch Salad before, looks amazing!! Beautiful video guys. The filming of the Salad was fantastcik, with the music and camera angles, was really well done. Cheers!
It’s really popular here Chris, it’s a ceviche-style but the conch itself doesn’t really have to marinate in the citrus. You’d love it 👌🏾Thanks a lot, we tried to switch things up a bit with this video & play around with filming. Glad that you really enjoyed it.
I second the great cinematography in this episode! I need to build my finance channel so i can start focusing solely on quality rather than quantity on this channel
Thank you! We had fun editing this one. I get you 100%. We really like the cinematography in your videos too but know you don’t have time to do that often when trying to pump out content. We will probably be in the same boat when on the road again so trying to enjoy having fun with editing while we can. I’m hoping your finance channel takes off soon!

I was surprised one day when my local corner store in Tennessee sold Kalik for a couple months. My grandmother made conch salad for me when I was young, and still crazy spicy. It is one of my favorite dishes.
Hey Mario! Glad to see you here 🤗. Ain’t nothing like a nice cold Kalik! Which island your grammy was from? They make the best conch salads. Sometimes my grammy only put the herbs and no conch and that used to be slapping!

The acid in the citrus would melt gloves so fast. You can see it even melts their skin down over time so this is the only way really if they are making it non-stop all day.
You do know that the only thing the gloves protect is the person whose hand they are on. Those ppl touch every surface with the gloves but for some reason we are supposed to believe our food is safe 😂

*I didn't realize they use to put sugar in the cole slaw... that's why mine never tasted as good.*
Hey!! Glad to see you here. The sugar mix with the little bit of vinegar is what gives it that distinct flavour 🤤.
@@NomadicIslanders *Ahhh gotcha, will try it sometime for sure!*
Add like a table spoon of vinegar then start off with a tablespoon of sugar and add sugar until it tastes right.

Why are you leaving an additional tip if you’re being charged 15% tip and 10% Vat? 🤔
Because Bahamas 😂. When we visit home we stay inside and try not to spend a dime. It’s just too expensive.
Bc you appreciate the service and food

20$ for a conch salad ? must be out of this world good..
I think there are some place that sell it for more, but that place we went to is pretty good though.

$20 is a good price. It's the Bahamas.
