I find myself watching your battles more than playing. I like the thought process when predicting the opponents. I just can't get into playing this Gen. Feels like every team is only paradox + ruin + 580 to 600 legendary. I miss being able to be competitive with pokemon with power ranges 475 to 525
I like to always make sure I have 1 or 2 UU Pokémon to make sure I’m having fun. Catches people off guard, can take out the big bads still. But too many and the team is underpowered. Example: I made a team around Greedent, Sitrus berry, his cheek pouch ability and swords dance. I kept winning with it! On the comment about his thought process: I feel like that’s what makes or breaks the poke streamers. If they aren’t explaining their thoughts then why am I watching!
The ruin mons aren't even that potent right now chien pao is always good and chiyu u see occasionally, ting Lu is gone (wo chien was never there) idk I feel like the metagame for reg E is actually a LOT healthier than D since ogerpon water is a much welcome check to urshifu-water
I'm struggling to deal with bundle armarouge psy spam. If I try to follow me with ogerpon bundle just freeze dried while armarouge endures. I'm afraid of bringing priority due to indeedee. Any tips?

I took this spread from Hirofumi's 2023 Worlds team. I didn't know what the spread did other than being bulky but the special defense was nice against the Chi Yu and Flutter Manes I did play against.
Most torns focus more heavily on spdf no? Ogerpon water is a great check to urshifu-water so enough defense EVs to live surging strikes doesn't seem as important as it was in reg D

James' playstile is mostly defensive, he's specially great in long battles and his predictions are incredible. Offensive plays, however, are a glass cannon. You can dominate the match from start to the end in a really visible way, but if you're in a disadvantatge is so difficult to comeback
