Just purchased a cutting so glad I found your video! I’m guessing I’ll have to purchase more cuttings or wait till mine grows longer to propagate and get it bushy like yours. Mine has 6 leaves and growing a long vine though 😊 what is your soil mixture?
Oh nice! These grow pretty fast so you won't have trouble propagating and planting it. 😊 It's been a while since I mixed this medium but for Hoyas I usually use coco coir, orchid bark (the smaller chunks), perlite, and worm castings. They seem to like it 🤷🏻♀️
@@plantposey great I have all those.. I’ve not used the cocoa coir yet, it doesn’t stay too moist!? Would you us equal parts of each? Thanks again 😊 Ps I’ve just started using superthrive vit mist and I’m thrilled with it so far! I use this instead of miracle grow fertilizer that I see others using..
@@MountainsnVallies equal parts are safe. Depends on your climate and watering habit. If it dries out fast in your home, go a Lil heavier in coir. It doesn't stay as moist as moss. Great tip on the superthrive! I haven't tried it yet. I've heard great things about it. I use liquidirt and love it!
