Dear Jayasara, I have been listening to your carefully chosen true wisdom excerpts for many years. It has been and still is my safe haven whenever I find time to consciously take a break from Maya and refocus on true self. The teachings you share are extremely precious and serve as constant reminders for us who try to abide in truth. I am 43 now, and have been on the path for over 20 years. Trying to achieve equanimity in this mad world. I was living in a big city and after the pandemic I left everything behind and went to the countryside, living alone among birds and trees. I still have to interact digitally with the world to make a living but I have to say I haven't been in such peace ever in my life and I am loving every bit of it. I finally approach the matching of external state and internal state, as trying to abide in peace in a fast paced world can be seriously challenging. I've absorbed and integrated spiritually the essence of the teachings and I think I broke from Illusion of self, and I am mostly in peace most of the time. The journey have been interesting and it still is. Anyways, I send all my love to the lovely people out there and I wish you all a peaceful inner and outer living.
Beautiful. I look out from Awareness, behind these eyes, and I still identify as a body and with its emotions. I don't understand why this is still going on, growing tired of trying to understand anything at all. All the while, this voice, your voice, voicing the words of sages and saints is always a rock of peace and stability that I can come to. Thank you
Never give up. Sometimes our path can be frustrating and difficult, but it is from the difficulties that we learn and grow. I don’t think anyone can understand this until it’s experienced. Once it is, we must still keep practicing to experience this more and more until it is continual.
Let Tony go his own way. "you" are not Tony and you don't look out from behind his eyes. everything is simple and clear. don't try to understand. live only as Awareness. you are That. 🙏😉
@Poetry from Poverty I know it very well. I am Tony and you and Ferdinando and all that appear. I only tried to lift the veil on the Truth. And no, it didn't take me long to write those words, nor these. They are already there 😃 Thanks for your wise comment. 🙏
Emaho! Now listen again, you noble heart-children! That one's own mind, the creator of all these things, Has tangible essence such as form or color Was not taught even by the Buddha. Primordially empty and ungraspable like the sky, It is certain that mind is empty and groundless. Though one may use the sky as an example to point out the mind itself, It is merely an analogy to illustrate the emptiness aspect. The sky cannot illustrate the meaning of mind Since the sky is an empty and blank nothingness, devoid of cognizance. Mind, however, is empty, cognizant, and manifests everything, This is how mind is empty. From the natural expression of this luminous and empty mind, An unlimited variety of appearances arise. Though these arise, like reflections in a mirror, There is no duality, since they are one in the state of being empty. This is how appearances are empty. Appearances and emptiness are primordially beyond duality. Since the mind is empty, appearances are unhindered. Within this emptiness, ungrasped, appearances are vividly displayed. Appearance does not obstruct emptiness, And though it appears, its nature is primordially empty. For the practitioner who realizes that the nonduality of appearance and emptiness Is like a rainbow in the sky and like the moon in water, All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are an illusory spectacle. When observing this performance of nondual appearance and emptiness, The practitioner with unwavering mind is at ease. Is it like that or not, fortunate children? . Between the emptiness and appearance of your mind, Is it possible to make a division or not? Observe this and then you will know That appearance and emptiness are primordially beyond duality. This is how appearance and emptiness are nondual This self-luminous, vividly clear and keenly awake, self-existing awareness, In which appearance and emptiness are nondual, Is the mind in which the three kayas are spontaneously present. Maintain it day and night in a continuous practice beyond sessions and breaks, my heart children. This is how nonduality is the natural freedom.
So many things I could say about this beautiful reading, but I’ll keep it simple with just a thank you from the bottom of my heart. You benefit so many.
Thank you so much for especially the videos that support the right view and intention and mindfulness. My will seems to lack the energy to go in reverse often and the habits and conditioning lead will power in limiting ways and mind keeps trying to manage so much when my heart would do better at all the being Craved which is another issue ha At any rate, this page is a blessing for my bodymind and all thanks
Thank You my Beautiful Friend 🌈 What an amazing journey this has been. I am beyond grateful to you and for you. Please know Samaneri Jayasara, You have impacted this (my) primordial journey leading back to the Root of the Unborn state of Primordial Awareness. I am sending you Infinite Love beyond what words could ever truly describe. Homage to the expression of Primordial Awareness that is you. 🌈🦋🙏🏽🌎🌎🌎
Understanding is not required, only recognition. In fact, intellectual understanding is an obstacle and something that many people in spiritual circles these days mistake for enlightenment. Look at the empty nature of your own mind, rest in that naked Awareness, stay there with no agenda or expectations. The fruit will fall when the time is ripe. The heart knows when the heart knows, and genuine realization will generally result in profound and humble silence. You won't wish or need to shout it from the rooftops or write a book about it. A quiet homecoming to our innate nature comes from the blessings of the Masters and faith in the Dhamma, not our own ego fueled efforts and cleverness. Simply open your heart and empty your mind to receive these blessings. You've clearly heard and felt the beauty of this teaching in your heart - trust in that. 💜🌻
Can someone enlighten me on this; I understand the duality between emptiness and the world. If emptiness (the mind) were to look in the mirror it would see the world. I get this. But what I don’t get is how it is suggested that we go beyond that for non-duality. There is the world and it’s source, the emptiness. How can we go beyond that? What is being meant here?
Non-duality is the default (and is our true nature) and duality appears within it, so to speak. Form and emptiness are simultaneous so the emptiness is appearing as form as whatever arises. What you go beyond are the layers of concepts and beliefs that obscure that. So, in this case, there is no referent to "beyond" it is merely a concession to the limits of language and what they call pointing. Of course, emptiness is empty of emptiness as well. Awareness/emptiness are non-dual.
@@ernestweber5207 _”What you go beyond are the layers of concepts and beliefs that obscure that.”_ Thank you, that certainly clarifies things. I guess I mistranslated the word “beyond” to mean “beyond emptiness”.
Like all teachings and teachers, they are words and appearances arising and dissolving in space. If they help you realise your True Nature, and to uproot ignorance and delusion they have done their work. 💜
@@SamaneriJayasara Well the problem now is that I don't want to do anything as I see no point. I feel that I'm no longer in control of my actions or what happens to me.
@@boomerang0101 This is where Right View and Wisdom are required. If you are leaning towards the extremes of nihilism due to what you have heard or read, you have misunderstood the genuine Dhamma and wandered off the path (although Ultimately there is no path, and no path to wander from). I suggest you listen to the wisdom of Ajahn Chah in my Theravada playlist to find balance again or enquire into teachings on the Middle Way Dhamma. Sending warmest wishes.
