Just bought a kit on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday. Now I gotta get a pedal and a hi hat Plus a ride cymbal and a china cymbal (china cymbals might be useful in drum n bass music)

I like your setup! What kind of hi-hat cymbals are those? I'm having trouble getting that nice crisp hi-hat sound like yours. Mine sound clunky and hollow. (I'm a beginner) Thanks in advance!
I know I'm not crazy! Some of these travelers kits have the pearl logo on the back of the bass drum,and then others have it on the front. Is my bass drum made backwards? Are you striking the shiny plastic side or the other side? I ordered my set online from Guitar Center.
