Anthony Belton DEFINITELY helped his stock, was a stone wall at both LT and LG yesterday. I think he jumped from a late 6th early 7th rounder to a project 5th rounder just from yesterday. Would love my Steelers to take a swing on him like we did with what is it Dan Moore a few years ago.
@ IMO it was truly only because of his size, 6’5 335, if you watch his film it reminds me of Cameron Williams out of Texas along the lines of a lot of ups and downs! But because of what he showcased at the Senior bowl, granted it was 1 day, if he keeps it up I think he truly solidified as a 4th-5th round guy.
Milroe is a conundrum -- a natural extremely gifted athlete playing QB. Great legs, great deep ball, but poor fundamentals as a QB (throwing motion, footwork, reading defenses, running through progressions, dumping the ball off under pressure, awareness in the pocket). Difficulty reading defenses, affected by emotion, often fails to go through his progressions to spot the open man, hold on to the ball too long. Makes impending sacks 5+ yards worse by trying to run out of them instead of throwing it away. Apparently has a tell in his stance pre-snap that tips off Defenses. However, when he's on his game, he looks like Superman, Heismann candidate and unbeatable, but needs a lot of work if he's to be an NFL QB. Better suited as RB/TE/WR, Hback, Wildcat. QB may be a bridge too far for him, but he's such a good edge runner, competitor, team leader, deep ball thrower that it makes him difficult to bench. Game is likely too fast for him as QB at NCAA level, won't last long as a starting QB in NFL without significant amount of work on fundamentals. Did not progress much in second year as UA's staritng QB (even could say he regressed).
