Our eldest son lives in North Hollywood and took us to the Venice Canals when we visited him in 2022. They are very picturesque indeed and it is hard to take a bad photo, but I have to say that the way you frame and crop your shots shows a very visual artistic skill which is on another level to most people, and this is on top of the musical skills that we all know about. Great channel, Mary.

One of my other favourite youtubers, Anne-Kathrin Dern, a fantastic film score composer just put out a video where she was walking the venice canals. I couldn't help thinking how tragic it would be if you bumped into each other while filming and fell into the water. 😀 It's obviously a very inspiring place.

Venice is nice. I own a home in North Port, which is just south of there. Check out the jetty in Venice, too, if you haven't already. It's my favorite spot. I haven't seen those canals before. I'll have to check them out next time I'm down there.

A great Q&A Mary, A wonderful musician with a can do attitude with a mysterious cheeky side . You seem very down to earth and that's great. As for the watch? Casio are very hard to beat for a daily wearer or other occasions. I wear different watches for different occasions or wherever my mood takes me, quartz or mechanical I'm no watch snob.

I really, really love your album and bought a signed copy of the CD a while ago. Is it also available on either Apple Music or Spotify? I would love to listen to while on walks, or doing chores, or whatever, but the streaming services don't make it easy to upload music and listen using their apps...

Used to spend a good deal of time on the Linnie Canal in the early 1970s with a young lady whom I miss now and again and often wonder where and how she is. I could say again that another revenue stream for you is your mellifluous speaking voice, but I'm getting to be like a skipping (looping?) record on the subject, so I won't.

Mary Congrats a group in Venice area. Had friends went to villas by the Beach. Is there a lovely? Just hopefully there's not a whole lot of homeless people around I think they've cleared them out. Omg !!! Thank you for "answering" my assumption !! 😅 For the record, I knew you probably weren't a watch-fanatic because of Mayer. I just wanted to hear you talk a bit about watches and hear your story, because I',m a bit of a fanatic myself. I'm a lot into Hamilton and Oris. Those are my absolute favorite brands. But also have a lot of Casio's (mainly G Shocks) and a few Seiko's. And 2 Tissot's. And 2 Obris Morgans. Kinda putting my collection on a hold now though, as it's getting a bit out of hand haha
Instead now focussing on some music again. Bought a Synthstrom Deluge and picked up the old hobby again ☺

"Beans on Toast", ??? I think the only "Beans on Toast" I might be willing to have a go at would be Frito Lay Hot Bean Dip spread on a piece of well toasted toast...however, my mom, when I was young used to make these Bean w Bacon opened face sandwiches...she'd that Van Camps Pork and Beans and split some hamburger buns, spoon some pork and beans onto them, then put a slice of American Cheese on top, then put a couple of slices of bacon on top of that, then put them in the oven on low broil until the bacon got done, then serve them up nice and hot...I thought they were delicious...so there may be some merit there with beans on toast...I suppose if a person is vegan or vegetarian, they could land some fake bacon and just use vegetarian navy beans and get close...and if they didn't do cheese, they could just skip the cheese part...
