    As a newbie about to invest, you must have these three things in mind
    1. Have a long term mindset.
    2. Be willing to take risk.
    3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending.
    4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor. I made it as a newbie by working with Alex Valentino and today I can show alot of my achievements.

    Bitcoin is a new asset type and is currently in "Price Discovery" it has been decades since we had a new asset come to market in price discovery and the beauty of Bitcoin as an engineered piece of software code is that never before in the history of the world has a new asset come to market with all of its future metrics are known except it value in terms of dollars. We know how many there will be for the rest of time, we know the rate at which they are being created and we know the rate of demand that exist on the open market. Make no mistake there has never been an investment opportunity like this before. If you don't believe that software code is value then you should also believe companies like Microsoft and Facebook should be worthless.

      @@navajorezathlete1202 If you're asking you haven't done your research (and are not familiar with the adoption curve): new money always comes in from retail investors but above all from institutions. This is asset agnostic, not specific to BTC.
      In the first few years this space was mainly "funded" by retail (the "crazy" pioneers who bought in early, recently institutions started flooding in and the market cap kept going up.
      Again, the main thought here is price is irrelevant as long as the value is there and there is no denying that it is so the price will inevitably go up exponentially as time goes by.

    No long term bitcoin price predictions has been correct. It is always overestimated by a long shot. I'd be surprised if BTC breaks 70k 2022. The price hike in late 2020 has no real market explanation except increased speculation. There needs to be adoption etc for price to increase. If you just use it as value storage without market adoption (as with gold etc) it serves no purpose. Also for miners to remain there needs to be payment for goods and services transactions happening. And the transactions needs to have lower fees than debit and credit cards. Its a conundrum.

Until now, gold & silver have been big threats to the US$. Now BTC is as well, so they will suppress it as much as they can.

    Only because central banks print more fiat, so that by the time it's 2029 you're only seeing a hyper inflated currency which makes Bitcoin super pricey. In the same way an Apple costs $1 today, it'll cost $10 by 2029. The only thing that doesn't inflate are salaries.

    If Bitcoin goes to $10m that means it will have a marketcap of $210tn (210.000.000.000.000). The whole of the US gov debt is $30tn.
    For this to happen, money would either have to die which would make $10m irrelevant. Or basically every nation, corporation, institution and individuals would have to dump all their belongings and net worth into buying Bitcoin every single year.
    If you pool all the assets and money in the entire world together, there might be enough nominal wealth in the world to reach $210tn if you count in derivatives. Then we'd need it ALL to be dumped into Bitcoin.
    Truth is there isn't enough liquid assets that can be flipped into Bitcoin, even in 7 years. You'd need 50% of all home owners around the world to sell their homes to buy Bitcoin. And you'd probably need everyone to hold their Bitcoin through 3000% gains for 7 years.
    I'm as bullish as anyone on Bitcoin and crypto but this is just mathematically silly.
    $100k? Sure, why not. $10m and a $210tn market cap by 2029? Come on now, use your heads.

    • @lgrrf
      @lgrrf 2 года назад +1

      @@g.c955 Asset price inflation is not CPI. It has been around 15% and will likely increase. So the math is, if inflation does not increase, $10M per BTC will be a 65x. Is it likely by 2029? Not really. Is it possible? Definitely.

    • @g.c955
      @g.c955 2 года назад

      @@lgrrf yes, you are right CPI is not asset inflation. However asset price inflation requires money printing, i.e. you need enough USD or debt to drive up BTC to 200T. It's exponentially hard to do so, i.e. 100B to 1T takes 900B, but 1T to 10T takes 9T.
      Where would 199T come from? US debt is 85T, M2 money supply 21T. It's gonna take a long time to get there. Not to mention, other assets will absorb the money too. I think WW3 would break out before the Fed balance sheet could get that high.

    • @lgrrf
      @lgrrf 2 года назад +1

      @@g.c955 Right, it requires money printing, which has been... exponential, at a rate of 15%. So, if you want to look at current values you have to discount future prices. Assuming that inflation keeps at 15% (which is quite conservative), we're looking at BTC increasing by 65x, i.e., to $65T.
      So the question is where would 64T (not 199T) come from? Residential real estate alone is worth $260T. Debt securities are worth another $120T. So you would only need 17% of these two markets to move to BTC. Will it happen? If BTC becomes the standard for store of value, definitely. My only question is whether it will be BTC, another crypto, or a basket of them.
