I don’t know if u would know the answer but does this apply to crossbow arrow/ bolts ? If I wanted to build arrows for my crossbow can I do all this for them
Crossbow arrows usually come in the correct length, and already have vanes and inserts on them. You would also need to make sure that you've got the right kind of vanes, or the same size vanes that were originally on the arrows.

Spin, cut wobbly end off, square, fletch, inserts, spin, nock tune, enjoy..

Cut arrow on both ends makes it more stiff and accurate
