Microsoft Publisher Tips and Tricks - Dark Mode and Shapes + Shift

Do you have any tips on making the ruler guide line darker. I use this to mark the middle of the page, etc. and have upgraded to Windows 10 and now I can hardly see the line. I did change the contrast background to dark mode and I like it but it didn't help with the ruler guide.

Angela Jones unfortunately I do not know any way to make changes to the ruler guides. There is a lot I would like to change but Microsoft has not given us any options with them. 😕

🤔 Not sure I understand your question.... Do you mean “Is there a way to create your own Template Library with a custom icon?” or do you mean “Is it possible to create an icon in MS Publisher?”

GREAT, the dark mode option on mine was black not grey

Interesting. It may be that your monitor is darker or the brightness is not all the way up. Each screen will look a bit different. ☺️

Andrew Breault no, what I mean is in the options for color scheme there was black, silver or blue ( running 2010 version). But the effect is the same as yours.
