I love your Tutorials, however it sure would make it easier to follow if your cursor was a different color and larger. I was watching another Tutorial a while back and it made it very nice having the feature!
Great video. I am making a mini year at a glance 12 month calendar in the templates option and having a heck of a time getting it into my main publisher file with my pictures and written words and planners because it pastes to the blank page jumbled. When I paste the mini calendar into the main file it turns up jumbled. When I pasted 12 months of calendars, they needed to be adjusted but not as much as little ones. I did notice that the font would revert to a different font perhaps the default font. I hope you will do a video on cutting and pasting, select all and grouping a page from one publisher file and pasting it to another file. Wish we could have a master file that locks so format doesn't change. Are there any add ons that could help? Hope to see video soon.

Unfortunately, I do not have much experience in Web Design. You might want to convert your Publications to PDF format, as PDFs typically appear the same no matter what OS you're using.

Sure, you can go to the Insert Tab and choose Shapes. Then you can choose the scribbles shape (in the line gallery) and draw your own image. Then when you're done you can highlight it and right click it and save it as an image that you can reuse later. I hope this is helpful for you.

Publisher isn't typically used for designing Web Pages. Publisher can be used for displaying web content, but typically only in the form of publications such as flyers, brochures, newsletters etc. I hope this helps you, thanks for watching.

Great question here. I don't think this is possible because when you change the page design settings for one page, it changes all of them. Your best bet here is to create separate files for each type of publication, sorry!

What are you trying to do to the shape? The edit features sometimes depend on the shape, so it's a little hard for me to help on this without seeing your publication.

I am trying to save my publisher doc to pdf, but it seems to send it to Word saying that it wants to convert the pdf to an editable Word doc. I don't need that just want a pdf copy to mail to others.

I use Publisher to create a monthly newsletter. Each time I have to export it to Outlook and ensure that all the hyperlinks work. When I export it to Outlook I am able to do only one page, whereas my newsletter is around 7 pages. Is there a way I can export all pages to outlook and ensure that all the links work?
Hi Carol,
I would convert the Publisher File to PDF, then add it to Outlook. Publisher doesn't always work properly when converted into other programs. If it is in PDF format, all links should work without a problem. I hope this helps you.

Click within the text box and click the text itself. From there, you should be able to edit it without any problems.

Sure, you can import Excel data by doing the following:
1. Click in the Home Tab
2. In the Text group, choose Object
3. Click Create from File
4. Click Browse and choose your file
5. Choose the Microsoft Excel Worksheet (or Chart if that's what you want)
6. Click OK
This will import the worksheet to your Publication. I hope this helps you out.

You should be able to click on different objects in the flyer and update them by changing the text/picture/chart by typing or right-clicking. I hope this helps.

Sure, you can personalize just about everything on Publisher. Look in the templates section of the to find something that would relate to badges.

Unfortunately, Grammar Check isn't built into Publisher. I recommend copying and pasting the text into Word, then running the Spelling and Grammar Check within Word. I'm not sure why Grammar Check wasn't included within Publisher.

Yeah that makes sense, it would take a long time to do all of that. You could try converting your Publisher file to a PDF, then converting the PDF to Word, then running the grammar check. That might work.

Sure, you can create almost anything with text boxes and tables in Publisher. You could create a very customized report in this program.

You could make it in Publisher, but I suppose most prefer Word for creating books. If you do want to use Publisher, create a custom page size for the physical print of the book, or 8.5x11 if you plan on standard pages or digital PDF. You can do that in Publisher. Just create a large custom page size and add a text box with large font in it. Obviously you would need a plotter or special printer for this sort of thing.

Publisher isn't used for presentations. For something like that, you'd want to import your file into PowerPoint.

Yeah I would convert it to a PDF, then use that to display it on a full screen. Go to the File tab, then click Export and concert to a PDF. I hope that helps.
