  • Hey my friends!
Today I'm gonna show you one of the workflows I use for my daily sketches. In this case I approach it toward calibrating my eyes for colors, temperatures and values. I used references to have a design goal and not think about that. NO color picking! I see you :p!
Try this method yourself and please share the result! Most important, have fun!

The man even dresses up with a warm yellow having cool blues on the left of the camera just to emulate the painting into the vlog part. I admire a lot how much you've done just on the grayscale part of it, I'm still too impacient to do it properly but definately gotta work on it

Thank you Nando :D appreciated! Glad you noticed the attempt on the colors haha!! I know what you mean, be consistent with your workflow without skipping steps and painting after painting you'll become faster and more efficient, trust me ;)!

hello tyvm for your videos, i'd just like to know what's the trick to go from grayscales to color without losing your values. I saw you didn't change your layer type or anything. I tried to figure it out using the HSB sliders but when i put back my paiting to grayscales (checking my values etc) everything is messed up bc of the saturation affecting the 'overall' brightness of the colors. Ty and keep goin your work looks really nice !
