- It's Friday afternoon and time to wash some rock. I'm on a local creek with the Gold Thingy 7.0.5, I'm out with Andrew once again and he has proven this creek to have gold with a couple of nice test pans, so kick back, relax and enjoy, while we search for Aussie Creek Gold.

Thanks Morgan, I was so happy to finally do some highbanking, the gold was there, but it was so fine. I tested another creek last Friday and in the last hour I found a nice spot getting little stickers in every pan, so when I get back there in hoping to see the odd picker or two. It was a great arvo out and thanks for allowing me to run some gravel at your creek. I thinks last Fridays creek just might have something to offer and after a little rain it might have some water to run the highbankers. Cheers mate

Yeh that won't be a problem mate test pans are the key and then hit it were good spec counts are and more tst pans as you go 👍

Yeah mate, I've been keen to get it out and give it a run. I have another creek that I tested last week and has some better gold, so I plan to have a crack at that one next, hopefully I get the same results. Cheers mate

It was a fun arvo, the golds there , but that area was very fine, even Andrews was fine, he had one good pan. All good, got some gold and had a good time. Cheers mate

Thanks Brothers, it was good to finally get out and wash some rocks, last Friday I done some test panning in another creek and got stickers in every pan and then the sun went down, so looking forward to highbanking that creek, a sticker every shovel would be nice. Cheers

Thanks Aaron, those pumps do a great job at getting the gold off the bedrock or clay and there easy to make, I should do a little build video of how I set up the seal section of the pump, the rest is pretty straightforward. Cheers mate

Your probably right, I tried another creek last week and as soon as I went into the bank I got far better gold, just need to get back there to run the highbanker. Cheers mate

looks like you got a gutter that hasnt been worked for awhile wont be long till things warm up and highbanking will be much more pleasant, cheers.
It was a nice little gutter, still more there, but I think I have a better creek to give a crack, just need to get back out there. Cheers mate
Hello Pete, in my opinion You would be better off classifying on the spot into a tub and then running it through your highbanker. You would save time and some petrol in your pump. Regards George
Hi George, the good thing about a highbanker is it does the classifying for you and at a large volume, a lot more efficiently that I can do in the basket classifier.

Hey Pete, your vids are fantastic. I'm just about to pick up my first detector and will get stuck into the goldfields myself. What you do is exactly what I will be doing (and the same general location!) so again, you've been a brilliant resource.
Question for you - what do you do with all of the small bits of gold you find over the course of all your videos? I'm thinking I'm probably just going to fill up glass vials slowly over time. Not even sure if it's worth selling, probably better just to keep as trophies! What do you do?
That's great your geting into detecting, just stick with it and the gold will come. The fine gold goes into paydirt bags and the bigger stuff I sell, this helps finance my projects I build, although I do keep the 3gram and up nuggets, there too cool to sell.

@@PetesGoldAdventures A mate has a 35 acres out of Heathcote ive detwced a few bits off a known reef but weve never done the creek - ive been nudging him for a while to sluice sections of it? - the creek is dry normally but hes built a dam atthe bottom of it thats full.

Between the Soccer and the Cricket, I just had time to fit this in, Slaty was not too bad for me, we need some heavy surging rain to move things around a bit, cheers!
